Stayed for a week at the start of August and very pleased with this little find of a campsite. Very welcoming and well situated close to dawlish warren beach (10 minute walk). Great facilities, clean shower block and didn't mind having to pay 20pence for...More
This is a great basic site with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. There is only one facilities block on what is a big site so we found ourselves with quite a walk even for a bin and although I’m sure they can’t build another...More
Excellent site, ideal location to walk down to Dawlish Warren and beach. Spotlessly clean facilities. We were pleasantly surprised how quiet the site was and how much room we had considering the site was full. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. We will...More

I am a former dog owner, whilst I have never taken a dog to Leadstone, I have observed dog owners taking their dog out of the site and for a walk along Warren Road. On the bend of the road (literally 2 minute walk) is a grass area that I have witnessed K9's doing their business!
Naturally all responsible dog owners clean up afterwards. One thing I must stress that you should check with Andrew or Sarah before visiting as they have a clear policy "we reserve the right to refusing entry to certain breeds of dogs". Note "breed" as opposed to "behaviour". Therefore a well behaved Staffy may not be admitted but a delinquent Yorky may well be.
