What an amazing meal last night we just couldn't fault it. I so what to give Mike Palmer 5 out of 5! It was a surprise meal for me, the drive was foggy & we got a little lost getting there. The only thing that made me put 4 out of 5 was the piano in the middle of the...

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have loved the food but the afternoon tea last week was most disappointing. Three finger sandwiches, a scone, cream and jam, a selection of unidentifiable cakes and half a glass of Prosecco for £19.50 is not good value. As there were six of us we were given a bottle of Prosecco...

We have just returned from spending Christmas at The Two Bridges Hotel. This was the first time that we have spent it away from home. It was wonderful. The staff were very welcoming, food and ambience excellent. Well done Two Bridges! We will be back!!

This hotel is a favourite of ours and it didn't disappoint. Lunch was on sofas around an open fire, extra chairs brought without asking. Food was delicious. The family then walked to Wistmans Wood with my frail mother staying at the hotel. I spoke to the staff as she is fine just not up to the walk. They moved her...

I'd been wanting to stay at this hotel for some time and we decided to book a night for Christmas. It was everything I'd hoped for. The staff were polite and friendly, the room was great and we were lucky to have a four poster bed which we weren't expecting. The bar/lounge area is very cosy with fireplaces and board...

A group of us 16 strong were birding on Dartmoor for the day and planned our Xmas meal together here. We made our menu selection in advance, and then on the day rang to confirm our time of arrival, and duly arrived at this lovely hotel, which has plenty of parking. There are lounges with lots of comfy sofas, and...

On the way back from a weekend in Plymouth we stopped off for Sunday lunch my first visit, glorious blue skies and nip in the air what better way to enter this hotel than to a couple of log fires and inviting sofas, menu at £25 for three courses seemed very reasonable and with this being one of the Dartmoor...

Thank you for sharing your kind words regarding your recent Sunday lunch. We are very lucky to have some great local produce available to us from around Dartmoor and the beef is no exception. (The local beers are too bad either) It’s great to hear that you enjoyed your first visit so much, we look forward to welcoming you back...

Love this hotel, wonderful cosy bar area with two fires and big leather sofas, and an additional lounge with a fire and eclectic seating areas. Best ploughmans for miles, Jail Ale, lovely warm atmosphere, lots of chatty walkers. Seems to be getting harder to get a table here! Lovely walk along the river with your dog (hotel is mega dog...

It' great to hear such positive feedback, it's certainly been a busy year for us at the Two Bridges, we are very pleased to that you have enjoyed visiting us. A pint of Jail Ale and a ploughman’s sounds like the best way to end a walk out on the moors! I hope you have a fantastic Christmas and New...

I have written bad reviews about this hotel a couple of times over the last couple of years. Decided to stay there as we love the area and the hotel we use normally was full, so decided to take a chance. Oh how glad we did. The place has returned to what it was, a friendly and we'll run hotel,...

On a miserable rainy day we came to the Two Bridges Hotel for a cream tea, together with our lovely well behaved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The hotel was immaculate, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the cream tea probably the best I have ever eaten. Beautiful, light, tasty scones; delicious home made jam (I asked for black currant [much better...
