With special thanks to Callington Town and Exmouth Town this week for excellent facilities and superb hospitality. Thus completing my worst stay ever at the Two Bridges Hotel. Just for the record, it was very expensive, doubled in price since our previous visit and all its friendliness had just evaporated. Can't help feeling that the phrase 'under new management' will... After staying at The Two Bridges Sister hotel The Bedford two weeks ago it reminded I had not reviewed the Two Bridges. My last review was 3 years ago; we return so we must like it! On booking we were told there would be scaffolding on the hotel which is good information & tells you they don't want to disappoint... More

My husband and I couldn't sleep as the bed was on an angle. Realised the floor was wonky. Rooms are very old fashioned and the shower is laughable. Breakfast was only in a 1.5 hour window so we ended up having to go elsewhere. After several staff walked passed us the following morning, we asked if we could check out.... More

We booked an afternoon tea (sandwiches, scones, cakes and tea) ahead of our visit which was fortunate as there was a wedding reception being held and as such teas were off the menu. You maybe should check ahead to see if they are being served as it's a long way to go to find there are no cakes at the... More

Called in with friends after being out sight seeing across the moors...cream tea £8.25 per head... As we had not eaten to long ago we ordered 2 cream teas between 4 and ordered extra tea... More than enough nice warm scones... Comfortable surroundings... Will visit again 😃

Beautiful venue on the moors and the wedding food and breakfast next day were great. Only downfall is rooms being so expensive at £150 and not having an actual proper to shower to use whilst being there. We had a nice bath with a shower head which was a nuisance. Other than that the bed was great to .

Our plans for a long Dartmoor Walk fell foul of the weather so we popped into the Two Bridges Hotel on a busy August lunch time and they were kind enough to squeeze us in. We hadn't visited in some time and this is the first time visiting with a vegetarian. The vegetarian choices weren't extensive, but apparently good! The... More

We went for lunch on bank holiday Monday. It was busy and all the tables out the front were taken. I asked the young lads out the front if they could let us know when a table was free. They did helpfully cancelled our meal in the restaurant as it was such a lovely day we wanted to eat outside.... More

I am very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us so much. I know that weekend it was especially busy outside, although we do have some space at the rear of the hotel for resident guests to enjoy on those busy days. I will certainly pass on all you kind comments regarding the food to all the... More
