Just spent 2 nights at this wonderful B&B, the owners are lovely and cant do enough for you, loved everything about it. As a single traveller sometimes you end up with nothing more than a shoebox parading as a room but not in this case. Very spacious and comfy room. Just as a footnote, if you book this B&B make... Hot bath, late supper, interesting regency building. Dog-friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Hearty breakfast. I really enjoyed the historical ambience. Was stopover during a two-day hike. Justine also provided a very full packed lunch, that took me the whole of the next day to eat.

Had a delicious afternoon tea at Tor Royale this afternoon. Fabulous sandwich fillings, home made cakes, scones, plenty of jam and cream. Sat outside in the garden at a table for two as we had the dogs with us. Justine was extremely friendly, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, despite it being a very busy bank holiday weekend. Was... More

Stayed at the lovely Tor Royal Farm this bank holiday with my husband and two dogs. We were all made to feel very welcome and the dogs were even met by the farm dogs who were all very friendly too. The room itself was perfect, lovely and clean with plenty of space and right next to the front door for... More

Great visit to Tor Royal Farms, very atmospheric and homey in a beautiful old farmhouse. It's still a working farm and has a lived in feel, very comfortable and quaint. We started with afternoon tea - huge portions & all of it delicious, with beautiful views out into the sheep pastures and the moor out of the dining room windows.... More

This b&b is a real gem in the middle of the moor, still with walking distance to the pubs in princetown. Full of character and with a warm welcome from both the owners and their cat and dogs! We stayed 2 nights in the wallace room at the top, full of charm with a very nice decor and lovely moor... More

Don't be put off by driving down a lane to a farm, as it is definitely worth it. We booked the full afternoon tea on line and, after a slight hiccup because the only options were "cream tea" or "a la carte" needing a confirmation by e-mail, we arrived to a friendly welcome. We were the only guests for tea,... More

This was such a find for us, set off the beaten track, a warm welcome awaited us by human and dogs! The building is steeped in history and the accommodation was lovely. Very warm and the most comfortable of beds. Delicious breakfast, every need catered for. On the downside there wasn't much room to put clothes away. We are however... More

Hosted a baby shower here in aid of my best friend. Justine Colton ( The host ) could not of been more accommodating and welcoming to us. Helping us whenever we required it. Rooms are large and warm, very comforting when coming in from cold Princetown! Overall a beautiful venue and wouldn't of changed anything!
