Set in a lovely location with marvellous views down the valley Eastwrey Barton has everything one could need for a great stay. Patrick and Sharon are the most amazing hosts, providing a home from home atmosphere that many aspire to but no one has achieved to the extent that they have managed to do. The communal lounge and dining room... More

Peaceful setting on edge of Dartmoor. Immediately made to feel at home. Cracking suggestions of where to eat and things to do. Restricted times for breakfast may trouble some but not a concern for us and well worth it

A lot of other places were booked up for the 3 mid week days we required to stay. Eastwrey Barton was available ( maybe it's because the room price is on the high side by comparison) and the reviews were very good. We were the only guests for 2 of the nights. We ate on our first night and the... More

I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough! We were the only guests and were given a complimentary upgrade on checking in by the charming owner Patrick. Our room was spotless and enormous with a wonderful view over the valley. Patrick, and his wife Sharon were perfect hosts - friendly and informative yet discreet and not 'in your face'. They recommended... More

Beautifully clean and of an extremely high standard. The accommodation is first class but as a personal preference would have prefered a shower to the bath with hand held attachment.. The view was lovely and Patrick was a very engaging host full of ideas of where to go and where to eat.I found his recommendations not only helpful but of the... More

My sister, niece, and I stayed here for two nights in order to explore Devon and Dartmoor. This B&B is beautiful, and comfortable with very nice common areas for both relaxing and eating. Patrick and Sharon were great hosts, helpful with advice and arrangements. We greatly enjoyed the small village of Lustleigh, which is about 2 miles or so away.... More

Brilliant B & B of a very high standard. Patrick and Sharon make you feel immediately welcome and at home. Nothing is too much trouble and they take a real interest in each of their quests. By prior arrangement evening meals are also available and they are cooked to perfection with fresh produce from the garden, can't get more local... More

Eastwrey Barton is a B&B of very high standard. The old farmhouse is very well kept and the interior is decorated in very good taste. The rooms are large and well equipped, and with a nice view of the valley. The common areas are also very nice, the sitting room with comfortable furniture and large windows is a good place... More

Stayed here on the weekend for a wedding nearby. Lovely property in a great location (a few miles north of Bovey) and close to all the wonders of Dartmoor. Friendly owners, spotlessly clean, yummy breakfast. Highly recommended.

This is a guest house in the best sense of the phrase, somewhere where you feel like a guest, not just another customer. Everything is done to make you feel welcome down to the last detail. The rooms are large and elegantly furnished, the beds are supremely comfortable, the linens are top notch, decent tea and coffee in the room... More
