My partner and I spent 2 nights at the Lavender House Hotel in November, it's a lovely place, in a great location, the staff were very friendly, we had a lovely room, with a very comfortable bed,.....the room over looked the beautiful gardens , ....the meals were delicious, as was the breakfast.....well worth a visit.

Great B&B for an event. Bit tricky to find with sat nav. Staff were very friemdly and helpful on arrival. Rooms clean and spacious but no hairdryer in the room and not suitable really for family's as the family room is directly over the event room with music and voices (very thin glazed windows) until past 1pm in the morning....

Our room was small and the bed uncomfortable, especially for watching TV. There was little else to do in the evening while digesting an excellent dinner. The toilet...

Arriving at the LHH at 3.00 pm Checked in by the Chef, who also kindly acted as Bell Boy, by carrying my case to room 7.[He's very versatile!] Pleasantly surprised to find the room had been Refurbished. Bright, Clean, lovely view from the window of the extensive gardens. Well kitted out en-suite, toiletries etc provided & Snowy White Towels. As...

I stay in hotels at least twice a month and I have stayed in some glorious places. This could have been one of them but sadly the fabric of the building requires serious investment. You will notice this at the front door where you will note paint missing through age. The bar area was superb and very unique, our room...
