Agaric Rooms @ Tudor House was a welcome luxury break for us. We stayed in the Havana room, which was enormous. The four poster bed was very comfortable indeed and the roll-top bath gave a touch of class to the bathroom. Lovely shower too. Nick could not have been more accommodating to our requests and made us excellent breakfast. Nice... More

The Family run establishment ensures you get service second to non. The bedroom was absolutely spot - The Havana Room, the decor, furnishings and Wow what a comfortable bed. Nick the Owner cooked a five star breakfast - nothing was too much trouble - I was so impressed - I've booked another two days in January 2016. I would certainly... More

"What bores you?". That was the best question I have ever been asked at a job interview. Why? Because it got to the heart of where oversights happen, mistakes are made and focus on outcome and client started to blur. Things got off to a good start with a friendly person in the Agaric shop showing us our room and... More

This title is an inspiration in that I wish my home was like the rooms available at the agaric. Wonderful decor and comfortable beds resulted in a relaxing sleep. Lovely home cooked breakfast to start the day

A very convenient location, nice,y done rooms with a modern vintage sort of feel. Wonderful breakfast too. My only frustration....it really should have wifi. It's not expensive to do, but really necessary for hotels these days. However, rooms are limited both here and in Ashburton and I'd happily stay here again.

I reached the point where I just needed a one night break from the children, just to read a book, have a long soak in a lovely bath, get a really good night's sleep, and have a relaxing breakfast with the newspapers...... all without having having a biscuit dropped in the bath, being woken every 2 hours through the night... This is a very well appointed and stylish hotel made up of several individually decorated rooms. Finished to very high standard. The owners were extremely pleasant and helpful location in the centre of Ashburton is excellent. Ashburton itself is the first town UK an (d abroad) in many years which does not have a high Street, saturated with global brands... More

I stayed here for one night with my mother in August. We had one single bedroom and one double and the double was upgraded to their very large and luxurious bedroom. The large bedroom was extremely good with a large bathroom with shower and roll top bath and the room had a very comfortable four poster bed and was very... More

We stayed at this b&b for (sadly) for just one night! We were attending a wedding nearby so didn't eat at the restaurant. the welcome ( in the kitchen shop next door - wish I'd had more time as would have spent a fortune!) was most warm and we were promptly showed up to our exquisite room (the Havana). Lovely... More
