We purchased a 2 night TravelZoo voucher for the Northcote - which included a 6-course Gourmet Dinner with wines on the first night. Not really our cup of tea to be honest, but the food was nice enough - although be warned, there's no choice unless you ask. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed in "Wisteria", which was a stone's throw...

Thank you for offering us valuable feedback. For clarity, our 6-course gourmet menu served with matching wines is a set menu dining experience. In this respect, it is different and separate from our main restaurant menu. That said, we are flexible to accommodate preference or special dietary requirements and are happy to replace or substitute dishes where this is possible....

On the plus side, it is a lovely location and very peaceful. The staff, mainly young, were very personable and helpful. The food was good, the fish dishes particularly so, and very nicely presented. The wine list started at around £30 so not inexpensive. Although the public areas are well appointed, our room in the main house was tired and...

We always listen carefully and note all points for sharing with our team. It’s great to understand that you enjoyed your food and overall stay at Northcote Manor. We did encounter a fault with our water pump during your stay, which affected water pressure to some rooms and resulted in a small water leakage. In turn, this triggered an alarm....

This was our fifth visit and yet again we were not disappointed. Our suite was clean, spacious and comfortable with beautiful views across the fields. We had the gourmet menu with accompanying wines, the food was superb and the wines delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

We had a one night stay courtesy of Secret Escapes, it included a suite and a three course meal. We arrived at around 3pm, we were welcomed by Simon at the door, amazing host. The building is wonderful full of old charm and character. We were shown to our room the Northcote Suite, it had a large seating area, a...

Possibly our sixth stay here now and we keep returning each autumn as their special tasting menu inclusive stays are so delightful and such good value for money. All rooms and suites we have stayed in over the years have been clean and well presented despite the difficulty of maintaining an old building and large grounds. Staff have always, without...

We had another lovely stay here with friends. This time we had a suite in the stable block, which was lovely. It was well appointed, beautifully furnished with a most comfortable bed and a lovely view. We had the six course tasting menu with accompanying wines, which was very good. The room is very atmospheric. However, the meal was very...

We had one night at Northcote Manor as a quick escape. This is a place to go for a relaxing break, if you are looking for top quality luxury rooms, design and service this is not the place. It has the feeling of faded grandeur but at that level it does a very good job - relaxing and unfussy. The...

Spent a night in one of the suites, and had the 6 course gourmet menu. What a lovely suite, and the food was some of the nicest we've ever had! The staff were warm and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and even though we wanted to change one of the courses, they were very happy to offer alternatives...
