This is a beautiful location in a delightfully restful part of North Devon. The welcome and briefing from the staff was first class. Everything was top class and the dinner was probably the best we have had in a number of years. The four course dinner was perfectly balanced and the chef should be congratulated on producing delicious and beautiful food. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended and we will definitely return at a later date.

Kate and I stayed at Northcote Manor for a long weekend as our first escape from COVID-19. We have been here 8 times in the past and are always impressed by the staff, facilities and scenic experience. However we felt that it is definitely worth mentioning the extremely high cleaning standards introduced to combat the virus and ensure that guests are protected to the highest level. All staff have been wearing face masks at all times, rooms were deep cleaned and restaurant and lounge areas fully disinfected after each sitting. If anyone is nervous about taking a break, then please don’t miss out. Come to Northcote Manor and relax in luxury, enjoy excellent food and make the most of the North Devon walks that are within easy reach.

stayed here recently for my husbands birthday. Now they have a new lovely spa which is a lovely editonl This was a return visit - we were unlucky enough to get a flat tyre due to a pot hole on route and only just managed to get to hotel.. The staff were so helpful - finding us someone to fix it on a Sunday and Ritchie was very very helpful. Food lovely as previously. A very cosy place to stay indeed.

What a special & quirky place. Classy but not pretentious. Welcoming staff and service done well with a smile & great sense of humour. Incredible food and a truly lovely place to stay. It is also steeped in history, which makes the quiks of the building even more unique and the painted murals in the dining area are a great talking point with hidden meanings to spot. As for the spa, perfect. I had the most wonderful treatments from Jess (I think that was her name?). Thank you for making our 10ys anniversary unforgettable! 😊

We stayed here on a Friday evening. The decor in the room was a bit dated and tired looking, but it was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The spa is really lovely and absolutely worth going to, and the food we had in the evening was also very nice. The thing that makes this place stand out is the service - the staff are brilliant and can’t do enough for you.
