Stayed one night. It did what was needed(ie a place to sleep, bath and breakfast in the morning) the rooms were clean but very tired. Breakfast was Ok.Nothing to complain about. Staff were OK and now I have to get over 200 characters.

My wife and I booked a 3 night break, and must say that , on the whole, quite enjoyed our stay. Hotel is quirky, and room 3 is a liitle small, (especially the shower), If you are disabled or elderly this hotel may not suit you, as stairs steep and narrow, but breakfast met our needs, and staff always helpful.... First of all ..don t book room 2 upgrade if you can. The room is honest for the price but you are more or less on road and just above the entrance of the hotel and just opposite the stairs but you ve got a amazing view It will have been very honest from the reception to propose us if... More

£140 for b and b was disgaceful, a very shabby and dated double room on the top floor. Everything was very very tired and desperately needed updating and decorating. It was awful! The wallpaper was very shabby and the paintwork on the door was beyond poor, it was a very bad room that was grossly over priced. Avoid!

We arrived for a three day stay in a double sea view room to be greeted with "the previous guests haven't left the room we had planned to put you in" but we have another room of the same standard for you ... They offered us a free upgrade as a sweetener for the last night but the room they... More

Brixham is lovely. The hotel calls itself "Quayside" which is partially true, it overlooks the main part of the harbour but the actually quay is hard to reach as the hotel is located on a very steep, very busy road which is hard to cross with the speed of the vehicles on a narrow street. There is no direct access... More

i actually stayed in the excellently appointed adjoining flat (The Captain's Cabin) for the ten days I was in Brixham, but had dinner in the hotel's restaurant each evening. Both the service and the meals (cooking and presentation) were wonderful. The staff were attentive and friendly and always paid close attention to the customers' precise requirements. The menu was interesting... More

We stayed one night the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was just ok but do not eat in the hotel bar my meal was very greasy and the coleslaw looked like yesterdays left overs with a congealed yellowed appearance, I did not see the point in complaining as i was not going to eat anything... Booked this hotel through Booking . com who promised us a king size double room with a harbor view for £216 pounds for two nights. The hotel E Mailed me two days before we booked in to say that we had been quoted a price for an inland view and that they did not have a kingsize room available for... More
