We stayed one night here on 16th Sep. The person that answered the door was not friendly we got shown the room given the key he never introduced himself to us. He gave us a choice for breakfast and asked us what we would like for breakfast out of the choices I did not even know what I was having... More

Dear Lorna200 Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on your 1 night stay at Redlands on the 15th September. Firstly, we are dumfounded, concerned, and at a loss as to why you found your stay at Redlands unfriendly! In the 15 months we have been running Redlands, you are the first person to rate us as... Stayed for two nights - immaculate room on the ground floor, clean and tastefully decorated. Full English breakfast both mornings and was a hearty way to start the day. Hosts very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Redlands is in a good position just 10 minutes walk from Brixham harbour. The room was clean and comfortably furnished with adequate storage. Nice bedding and comfortable pillows. The ensuite was small but adequate and was clean and well lit. We had a friendly welcome with a cup of tea. Large choice of breakfast and I would recommend the Eggs... More

I spent one night in the Redlands Guest House on the recommendation of friends. Pity I wasn't staying longer! Steve was so helpful, the room was perfect for my stay, and the breakfast was fabulous. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Room was fine but noisey even with windows closed . Not to far from town pleasant walk in. Breakfast room was very cramped and breakfast was not the best with overcooked bacon and eggs . Very expensive for what we got.

Travelled to Brixham for a friend's wedding and needed a B&B close to town. Was very impressed with everything but especially the breakfast. I choose eggs Benedict as its my favourite and it didn't disappoint. The other highlight of my stay was the pillows......it's a girl thing! No lumpy cheap pillows here, and that was the same with the bedding and... More

We stayed here on August and it was really nice. The place was exceptional clean and the two men were really nice people. The cooked breakfast was excellent and there was a good variety to choose from. There is onsite parking which we had no problems with at all. The location is about a 15 minute walk from the centre... We stayed at Redlands for 5 nights this week. This is how a guest house should be. Great choice of breakfast and very high quality. The rooms were spotless and comfortable with all the little touches you would hope for.The owners create a relaxed atmosphere. If only all holiday accommodation were like this.

Well we came and stopped slightly apprehensive as with a 20 month old you never know how friendly places will be ! All I can say is the Redlands was welcoming and family room was a great size. We brought our travel cot and we still had plenty of space for our boy to play and chill out. It's a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The old home of TV's William Tell - Conrad Philips, Redlands is now an award winning family run B&B which is clean, comfortable, friendly, and relaxed with free on-site parking. All rooms are en-suite and include hearty English breakfast,(our renowned) kippers, or lighter breakfasts served after a good night's sleep on our pocket sprung mattress. Redlands is a Victorian house, originally built around 1900 for a Brigantine Captain and has been modernised and restored with all the modern comforts, yet still retaining its character and old charm. We are situated just a short 10-minute walk away from the bustle of the picturesque harbour with its excellent restaurants. ... more   less
