We were lucky enough to book into this B&B for two nights and really appreciated the extra touches in our spotless, airy downstairs room - fresh milk on the tray in a flask as well as oscillating fan which came in very handy. Breakfast was excellent - particularly the perfectly cooked mushrooms. Steve and Matt were great hosts, we felt... More

First stay at Redlands. Stayed for two nights at the very end of July with friends. Clean rooms, good location (10 minute walk to harbour) and great breakfast. Very welcoming but not over-fussy. Great stay.

Stayed for 4 nights, and our room No 9 was very well appointed, with excellent bedding and towels. Fresh milk provided daily for our morning tea ! Breakfast first class, especially the Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, and the Egg Florentine was divine. Their local... More

The room was very well equipped and totally spotless, and the breakfasts were just amazing!! Available parking... More

Stayed at Redlands for one night on 2nd August. Were given a time slot for breakfast and had to choose what we wanted as they were very busy, not ideal but understandable to cut down on waiting time. Our double room was small but adequate. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. 10/15 minute walk into town and harbour so location... More

Really friendly and helpful owners. The room was clean and tidy. We had everything we needed and thought it was a nice touch to have a flask of fresh milk with our tea/coffee bits in the room. Breakfast was gorgeous, I had eggs benedict the first morning and my partner had the full english. There were plenty of cereals to... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The old home of TV's William Tell - Conrad Philips, Redlands is now an award winning family run B&B which is clean, comfortable, friendly, and relaxed with free on-site parking. All rooms are en-suite and include hearty English breakfast,(our renowned) kippers, or lighter breakfasts served after a good night's sleep on our pocket sprung mattress. Redlands is a Victorian house, originally built around 1900 for a Brigantine Captain and has been modernised and restored with all the modern comforts, yet still retaining its character and old charm. We are situated just a short 10-minute walk away from the bustle of the picturesque harbour with its excellent restaurants. ... more   less
