Me, My Wife and two dogs spent 3 days camping at the Buffalo River Resort. We drove up from Memphis early on friday morning & arrived just before check in at 3 pm. We had an amazing time & although this place draws a large crowd we had a great time. The first two nights we were alone, but the... More

If you camp without electricity and like traveling 1 mile on a dirt road to the bath house, then this place Is for you. No enforcement of rules at sites, after you pay, you only see the bus drivers who are never informed about who needs a tube or ride. However, the drivers are mellow and the river is relaxing.

We had read reviews online but wanted to judge for ourselves. Well, the road was a dirt track through a field to the rivers edge and there was more garbage left than most dumps have. The can for aluminum cans was overflowing, trash cans knocked over and more than full, there was shoes, shirts, cans, and multitude of other items... More

We apologize for what might have appeared as items left behind. However we have multiple recycling bins that we organize and empty at our own cost because keeping the Buffalo River clean is one of our top priorities. Additionally we stack our equipment everyday for the next day's use. We do offer shuttle services so that equipment you saw could... More

Check your calendar and bring your family to Buffalo River Resort for a week or weekend to float the beautiful Buffalo River and stay in the new lodge or rent a cabin or camp by the river in your tent. There are even hookups if you bring your camper. Make a reservation to tube or canoe down the Buffalo. You... More

This was our third trip to Buffalo River Resort since it opened. We had went a couple years ago and had "ok" service. After reading they were under new management we brought friends from over an hour away to spend the day on the river. After todays trip we WILL NOT be back! I made reservations 2 weeks in advance.... We only spent one night here just to make sure our motorhome was up to snuff before leaving for Florida...We used this night to clean the inside and just make sure everything still worked well....Nice quiet fairly level lot with all hookups and very nice folks to deal with.

Yes! Found where my husband and son spend deer season! Lots of tent camping sites on the river. Lots of hook ups for your campers. Nice Amish wooden cabins. Great air conditioning. Good rafts. Scenic River. Go visit Barrett!!!! Great cabins, can buy ice and beverages at the location!! Only 6 miles off I-40 westbound at exit 143.

$32 for 2 kayaks and transportation. Beware of the 5 mile trip. Strongest rapids of the float with giant rocks as soon as you enter the float. Literally, the second you leave the banks. Float was really nice besides that and the facilities were very nice. The bathhouse was in surprisingly good shape and very welcome.

We drove all the way from Georgia to tube the Buffalo River and chose this company due to their good Facebook reviews. We were very disappointed with the level of customer service and lack of communication between the employees! We were told to drive down by the river, park and wait for someone to pick us up. Well we drive... More

What a disappointment! We went camping with a group. When we got there they didn't have cabins available that we had reserved. No problem- we bunked in with each other. The cabin was fairly nice which was the only reason this place got a '2'. However, the next day, when we went to get tubes they disclosed that due to... More
