Stayed here one night during a stage of SWCP. First class accommodation , hospitality. Please stay here. Great advise on where to eat etc Would have loved to stay longer, breakfast FAB, even in Covid times.
We had only one night in this really fabulous BnB whilst walking the SWCP - and didn't want to leave. From the crisp, snowy white sheets to the heavenly smell from fresh lilies and the super fresh breakfast, there is such attention to detail and to creating a comfy, welcoming place to stay. It certainly won best place on our trip. The cottage is picture book beautiful, surrounded by a lovely garden and Sophie is a warm, generous host. It's a really happy place! Thank you, Matthew and Sophie.
Walking the SWCP we only stayed one night, excellent place, very helpful, welcoming owners, got a really good nights sleep followed by lovely breakfast, the muffins are great! Good location of a longer break, Woolacombe, Saunton and Instow, take a look at their garden brilliant.
Set near a very old and historic church, Silver Street cottage is a wonderful relaxing place to enjoy the village of Braunton. But the highlight is the wonderful welcome you get from Sophie and Matt. Then there is the breakfast..... with a lot of the extras home grown. Do not miss out on the honey, it is so good. Definitely will be staying there again and highly recommended.
From the moment you pull up outside you will know you have made THE BEST choice in staying at Silver Cottage. The welcome received is second to none, Sophie and Matt are the most natural hosts and instantly made us feel more welcome than anywhere we have stayed before. Both Sophie and Matt took time to get to know us, our children and presented us with a amazing tea and freshly made delicious scones on arrival. Breakfast was equally sensational and delicious with lots of fresh produce. The grounds and the cottage are beautiful, quiet, peaceful and welcoming. We are so glad that we have found this gem of a place and cannot wait to go back! Thank you so much!
