My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old son for 3 nights as we were attending a wedding at the beautiful Ash Barton Estate nearby. The landlady Nicky is hugely welcoming and very accommodating and kind to our little boy which was great and very much appreciated. Our family room was huge (comfortably fit a king +... More

Lovely room in which I stayed with my elderly mother and young daughter, very spacious, airy and spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. Full size toiletries, shower gel, bubble bath etc, a home from home. Lovely breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and yogurt on the table, plenty of choice from a full English breakfast to a lighter option... More

Fantastic and thoroughly recommended. Nicky made our three night stay very welcoming and easy. With a very central location in Braunton, but just far away enough to be quiet and peaceful. The room was very clean, well presented and roomy. Breakfast was excellent too, with great choice, which included fresh fruit and home made local jam and honey. Nicky even... More

We stayed at Stockwell Lodge with family for one night after my daughter's birthday party in a pub close to the B&B. Absolutely delightful stay! We rented 2 very comfortable rooms and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Complimentary tea and coffee available. The location is peaceful with parking available and only 5 minutes walking to the village. Nicky is an... More

What a fantastic place to stay. From the second we arrived Nicky couldn't have done more. The whole place so welcoming lovely room, fantastic breakfasts couldn't really fault it even when the spider set the smoke detector off in the early hours. Well worth a visit thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights there & would definitely go back again.
