Arrived here as part of a Coast path walking holiday. This B and B is directly opposite the famous art deco hotel on Burgh Island. We had a lovely large family room with a huge bathroom. Breakfast was very good.

We were 3 generation of a family with a baby and toddler. Made to feel very happy and comfortable during our stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped, beds are comfortable and the children were welcome. The hosts are friendly and helpful and breakfast is very good. It was an ideal find for our long weekend.

I found this place via Trip Advisor and was pleased to find what appears to be the only B&B in Bigbury-on-Sea. More importantly it was within walking distance (albeit a steep uphill walk!) to Mount Folly Farm where the rest of my family had rented a cottage for a week. My husband and I stayed at Summer Winds for 2... More

A fine welcome and great position near the coast. Great views of Burgh Island from your bedroom. Dining for walkers is a small problem as the easiest option is to walk to Challaborough, which is not far but could be difficult in poor weather. If the tide is out the Pilchards on Burgh Island is easily accessible.

Bigbury on Sea is beautiful and unspoiled. We went there to swim round Burgh Island. The swim was amazing and Summerwinds was the icing on the cake. Kim and Tony want to make everybody's stay perfect. Our room was large and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom and tea making facilities. Breakfast was delicious with fresh ingredients beautifully presented. A swim... More

This detached chalet bungalow overlooking Burgh Island and magnificent sandy beaches is perfectly placed to enjoy a holiday. Add the ingredients of good room sizes, guest parking, a great breakfast and caring helpful hosts and the package is complete. Note. For walkers doing the south west way which passes in front of Summer Winds, check with Kim and Tony about... More

This is a fabulous B&B. The hosts were so friendly and VERY helpful. I really recommend staying here. I was going to an event at the Burgh Island Hotel but I did not want to pay the hotel's over the top prices. So Summer Winds B&B was just perfect - very reasonable. The view out of my room was right... More

Stayed here with a friend, for the second time, recently. I cannot recommend highly enough. The owners have a perfect balance of being attentive, whilst giving space for relaxation. The rooms are spacious, finished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious with stunning views of the sea and the legendary Burgh Island Hotel. I recommend Summer...
