Stayed for 2 nights, very comfortable bed, lovely rooms in thatched cottages around the courtyard. included a tour of the castle, very interesting and informative. Breakfast good, lovely selection of berries, only criticism would be while communal breakfast tables great for wedding parties, think most B+B guests would prefer individual tables.A very relaxing break, will definitely return.

This is a lovely old castle with lots of history. The guides who took us around were very informative and made it a lovely experience, the journey there was very pleasant along the Exe Valley. The grounds were lovely and as they hold wedding there the settings for that would be spectacular. A worth while visit.

We spent 5 days and 4 nights at Bickleigh Castle, surrounding the wedding of my niece. This time was the highlight of our 2 weeks in England. The castle is medieval, but the rooms (and bathrooms) are quite modern and comfortable. The owners and staff are warm, friendly, helpful and efficient, and went out of their way to insure that... Lovely 2-night stay earlier this month at Bickleigh Castle. We were a family of 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) and took 2 rooms. Although there were no connecting rooms, the management gave us 2 rooms in one of the cottages with our own private landing. The rooms were very cozy and the beds comfortable. The breakfasts were also... More

Our daughter's wedding was July 16th. We chose to reside at the castle from Thursday to Sunday. Having both families together was perfect. The castle owners and staff had everything planned just the way we had hoped - flawlessly! The atmosphere, the music, the food and all the available activities made for a fantastic wedding weekend. If you are looking... More

Family travelling and even our 4 year old found it a fascinating place. Owners are very welcoming and staff great.Overall loved the uniqueness of the castle and its various cottages. My nephew and his bride picked Bickleigh Castle for their wedding July 9th. I live in San Diego and made the trip especially to be with him and family. The castle was ours for the whole weekend and it was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was excellent, especially the wedding breakfast. Sarah Hay and her staff... More

Went to a business evening at the castle and what a venue. It was a good summers evening and we where outside some of the time, but getting there was easy with the sat nav, but interesting with out. There was plenty of parking and the food and staff wonderful. Plus history, a venue that has stories going back to... More

My son and his bride chose Bickleigh Castle for their wedding on Saturday 9 July 2016. What an amazing place to celebrate. It was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect - from the lovely cottages, breakfasts, cream tea in the afternoon when we arrived, the Barbie in the evening to the most wonderful wedding ever! We were all made so welcome...
