Cleaning and maintenance at this hotel is appalling, During my 6 night stay I noticed Dirty Stains on the carpet, muddy marks on the white bedding, An opened and used bottle of water left on tea tray on arrival, no central heating (a plug in...More
Hotel in need of care and attention. We were disappointed with overall presentation and level of maintenance of this hotel. Tired and dirty carpet, rooms very dusty, cigarette burns on lino and mattress. Nowhere to hang towel in bathroom, decor was drab and the hotel...More

Centrally located , comfortable Inn, very welcoming owners, excellent cooked to order breakfast. Yes it is a bit tired in places and a few stairs to encounter for some rooms but friendly atmosphere and worth a visit.

I can't honestly remember! The room I had was a double, a very spacious room with ensuite facilities. The room was very clean and tidy even with a two seat leather settee! If my memory serves me right, they offer a double to 'single' travellers, purely for space. The Yacht serves very tasty meals (their brocolli and stilton soup is to die for!) and substantial breakfasts! Enjoy your stay!
