All the staff lead by Ray were both friendly and efficient. The hotel itself with its beautiful courtyard is a quiet haven just a minute from the High Street. The room was very clean and of a good size. The meals we had ( breakfast and dinner) were both excellent. We have no reservations in highly recommending this hotel.

I only stayed at the Duke of Normandie for one night and wished it could have been more! The hotel is set in a quiet, private courtyard and conveniently has The Pickled Pig bar with in. The room was immaculate, well decorated and stocked and was perfect for my trip. The staff were excellent and the food offered at The...

Aine couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. The hotel rooms are beautiful. Scrupulously clean and in room facilities excellent. All of the staff were charming and the breakfasts were delicious. My friends...

This hotel is in a very convenient position for the shops, the Harbour and the buses. The courtyard is a sun trap for afternoon or evening drinks. The staff are all very friendly, efficient and helpful in both the restaurant and hotel too.The outer rooms back on to the...

Lovely room, very clean and smart with all the mod-cons you could want. Great food, both breakfast and evening (in the Pickled Pig), with huge portions! Staff were very friendly and helpful, and made the effort to remember you on night 2. Totally recommend!

We managed to get a room for the evening before Independence Day. We were more than happy with room 44. Breakfast was excellent. Also had lunch and an evening meal both very good. Thought the staff were particularly pleasant, friendly and helpful. Would happily stay there again and confident to recommend it to friends.

We stayed here as two couples at the end, of March. The location was very good though we had a little trouble finding the Hotel but later learnt that the island has strict rules on signage. We had a lovely stay, the breakfast was particularly good. The rooms were comfortable and the bar/restaurant was very good. Staff were very friendly,...

We went to celebrate our 45th W A. Which l had informed the hotel of at time of booking, sadly no acknowledgement of this in any way, and our room was in the courtyard over the entrance for cars and backing onto a side street. We had a cleaning lorry wake us at 6:30am the first morning , and a...

we really like this hotel and have stayed there 3 times over the past 2 years. It is convenient, has parking, rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is good and unobtrusive. One winge - the breakfast was not great this time - scrambled eggs came as a huge pile of overcooked pale egg, and the sausages (which were...
