We also booked a garden room and when we arrived were allocated room 20. This room is definately not a garden room and has terrible views over the kitchen, also very gloomy and dated. We spoke to receptionist who then showed us three alternative rooms which were lovely. We settled for room 2 which was sea facing and although a lot of traffic... This was our second stay at the hotel and we would highly recommend it. The staff are efficient and friendly. The hotel is really clean and our bedroom was cleaned daily with fresh towels on request. We had a view of the garden and the sea. The food is excellent and we decided to eat there on three of the... More

Great Hotel, made to feel very welcome. It's an old building so the room I was in was an odd shape, think proper character old hotel, rather than new faceless prefab box. It was clean, friendly and relaxing. I will stay here again next time I am on the island.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, my room overlooked the bay. Although a very long narrow room it had everything. My only complaint is no elevator. The staff were friendly and helpful. As we had rented a car there was room on the small forecourt to park it overnight. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the full English.... More

Convenient location to town. Wonderful sea view from bedroom (room10). Such lovely staff and food was fantastic! Room fully equiped and lots of added extras too. You certainly wouldn't need a hot water bottle as the rooms were lovely and warm! Would recommend to everyone!

Lovely small hotel where you might feel like in noir movies plus one of the best scrambled eggs and toasts ever had! My room was tiny but clean, furniture a bit 80s "whatever" that's why not 5 stars. Lovely garden

Used to go to this place alot but was disappointed today. Miserable Manager and because of this miserable staff. I feel sorry for waiter Kris as he seemed very controlled at his every move, because of the Manager Does not cater for food intolerances at all, so needs to modern-up like everyone else is doing. No gluten-free, dairy free or... More
