As a family of four, we recently stayed in one of the lodges on this campsite. The site is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is run by lovely people, who keep the site shop well stocked and the surroundings clean/tidy. Fresh bread is available daily and twice weekly they cook excellent fresh pizzas in an outside pizza oven. A superb place to stay on Guernsey, with the bonus that they also allow well behaved dogs.

The camp site is run very efficiently by Roland and Teresa and their team. They are always available in the shop/reception and ready to be helpful. The site has multiple areas - some for campervans with hook up, some for tents and they also have a few lodges. The toilet and shower facilities and laundry areas are excellent and regularly cleaned. The burgers, pizzas etc in the evenings are tasty. The pool is a great size with a shallow children’s area. The only down side is that the walk to a bus is quite long - for us it was too far. However we would not hesitate to return and stay there. Many thanks for a great week.

My 4th visit here whilst visiting family. Stayed in my own tent for 11 days. The pitches are large and well spread out. Roland and Theresa are very welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful. I have spoken to several people who have visited the site year after year. The site is dog friendly and my dog loves it there. There are 2 sheepdogs who are very friendly and get on well with other dogs. The site is clean and safe for children and the surrounding area is lovely. Lots of goods walks and places to eat.

Well we booked the safari tent off plot so to say, earlier in the year , before it was installed and we arrived in June for 10 days in what could be described as typical English weather. The 'Tent' or house as we liked to call it was very impressive indeed. Like a home from home. Despite it being a called a tent , the only thing in common with being a tent is the outer canvas layer. It was an impressive 2 bedroomed structure with a large king sized bed in the main bedroom. The bathroom was great with a powerful hot shower. The dining kitchen area was as perfect living area with all the mod cons needed for very comfortable self catering( fridge kettle, toaster and electric hob). The outside decking was sizeable and nice and comfortable for relaxing and eating . We had our dog with us and she loved it as much as we did. The safari tents fit in perfectly in the makeup of the camp site . Roland and Theresa are wonderful hosts and look after all your needs. The campsite is perfectly located being only a 10 minute drive to St Peter Port and to West Coast of Cobo bay. We took dog and bikes , so discovered lots of walks and plenty of cycling. Certainly recommend this quaint, quiet campsite especially the Safari Tents!
