Food was wonderful and all the staff were very attentive. We had a very relaxed afternoon and evening. The room was comfortable, even though it’s a bit worn out looking in places. The breakfast was excellent. Such a shame it does not have a nice garden to enjoy. A walk down to

Me and my girlfriend stayed here on a Saturday night and also indulged in the tasting menu. The food was great and I could not fault the staff both the bar staff to the restaurant servers were friendly and attentive. The Hotel itself is lovely with unique old-style rooms. The

If it is sunny the little terrace on the stream of water of Hyacint (I think this was the name of teh room) is super. Service was also great and the room downstairs to read is also absolutely great. I advice to go and eat at Rozel Pub, on average food in Jersey is not the best.

Although an old hotel without extras like a spa or pool this hotel is fantastic. Brilliant attentive staff without being in your face. Just finishing dinner on our last night which has been outstanding. The staff here are simply brilliant. Would highly recommend for a long

Hello. Although we are just 2 minutes walk from the harbour the hotel is on a right angle to it and overlooks the green valley down to the sea. The balcony rooms overlook the front of the hotel. Balcony rooms fill quickly for summer as you would expect so please do contact us as soon possible to confirm your favourite.

Hello Mr Adam. Unfortunately, as on old house we do not have a lift at the hotel. I'm afraid also that your room has been previously allocated to the second floor and will be stairs up. The hotel is 100% full however there are a few other guests within your party who do have a closer room on the first floor. On that basis I'm sure there may be option to make a change tomorrow if required. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Does it have a lift?
Hello. Unfortunately being an old country house built in 1843 we do not have a lift. There is a staircase from reception to the first floor with 22 steps. Hope that helps.
