So, Just to hit this off the bat, I am a Jersey Resident, if this Skews your view of my review but in saying that, i do have a choice in campsites on the island, this is just the one we visit.

So, where to start? i suppose with the title, the major flaw with we have found with Beuvelande campsite is, it's horribly addictive, once you have been up for one weekend, you are pretty much trapped (writing this review after 6th weekend in a row after only popping up to visit friends for a BBQ!

Everyone is so nice, there is a proper chilled vibe with the long term/seasonal campers, seeing the same people up there a few times, happy and cheery (because they are the lucky few that don't have to leave).

the staff are incredible, Jay & Eileen behind the bar is always accommodating for both food and drinks, the owners, Danny and Alice are lovely, always happy to help.

the Restaurant, Tilly's have an incredible menu for both Dinner and breakfast, we struggle to stay away, but usually full (with current social distancing measures in place) takeaway options on their full menu is available (just might need to do some dishes as some potions are too big for the takeaway boxes.
the breakfast options are pretty wide, (Breakfast burrito or Maple bacon pancakes are the ultimate breakfast choices) and for the prices of the food, you literally can not beat it.

the facilities are clean, not sure if that's because of the current global situation, but for campsite toilets & showers they are spotless.
we ourselves don't use the pool or children's park but it's always a bustle of happy kids, so it must be pretty great?

100% would recommend this to both Jersey Locals and Tourists alike, you are far away from main roads so there is 0 traffic noise, the pitches are large and well-kept. we are always just waiting to book our next weekend!

if i was to make a suggestion to the owners, make an agreement with the local EV bike company and get a few parked up at the campsite, would be great to be able to just cycle off around Jersey from there!

Keep up the great work you are doing at the campsite, and you will see us time & again.

A&D

We came here 20 years ago and decided to come this year with our granddaughter. Brought our trailer tent and we’re given options where we wanted to pitch. Lots of space and very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities are good and clean (just be aware it’s hot showers one side and cold the other! We loved our stay, our granddaughter quickly made friends and we felt she was very safe on site. Food is excellent (be aware portion are big!) Overall a great campsite!

The campsite itself was well equipped for everything advertised. We stayed in a bell tent. The beds are uncomfortable though (thin mattress on top of wooden pallet style frame) and noise seemed to carry from other guests up late in a different area of the site which made for a difficult nights sleep. I’d say the tent wasn’t cleaned on the day of arrival (maybe some time before) as there was a puddle inside from rain overnight the night before, cutlery felt a bit sticky and bedding a bit damp. Showers were clean and no issues there. I wouldn’t class this as a glamping experience as the tents should be a higher quality but it was adequate for a basic camping experience

Our 5th visit to Beavelande & we were disappointed in the site it is definitely not a 5 star site now. We stayed on a super pitch on the back field as we wanted space & a quieter pitch. The pitches are large but we were disturbed as children playing rounders during the day & youths playing football at night at the front of our pitch. The shop & restaurant only opened Friday & Saturday. Wi fi only available if you sat at the front of the shop. Laundry closed, only half of the showers opened until the weekend when all the Jersey people arrive for the weekend. A couple of locks on showers &: toilets broken, sanitory bin overflowing at 9 am in the morning. We arrived at 10pm , shown to our pitch & was told someone would check all ok in the morning, but this did not happen.
We have always loved this site but sadly won't be visiting again, it is badly managed & needs some TLC.

If you are looking for a quiet campsite don’t visit this one especially at weekends. We booked a superior pitch and the only one available on arrival was by the bins and apart from 2 other campers the field was full of locals who visit each weekend to party leaving their camper vans in situ. It was noisy with children kicking balls, riding e-bikes and general unruly behaviour. The website for this campsite is misleading and doesn’t let you know that locals pay an annual licence some staying on a semi residential basis. So all in all a very disappointing stay and not one we will be repeating.

What an amazing place, lived in Jersey for 20 years and can’t believe I have never been here. The owner/manager was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, the tents were amazing, food brilliant and the kids loved the pool and park. Would highly recommend!

This is our 3rd visit to Beuvelande Camp Site. We love this site. Jay the Manager does a great job making sure all the toilets were spotless and the site in tip top condition . We had no complaints at all and really enjoyed ourselves . The site was well maintained with the hedges neatly cut along with the grass . Bingo nights were good and food in the restaurant good value and very tasty . Dont hesitate book and have a good time Jersey is great . Well done to staff and owners for keeping this site in my view NO1 in Jersey.

We stay here with friends & their children every year. This year being an odd one for obvious reasons but the campsite staff kept us up to date with all the changes & yet again it did not disappoint. Great tents, kitted out beautifully, helpful friendly staff too & the pool open just in time for the kids to have a ball. The food this year was fantastic. A new style menu for dinner which tempted us back for a second night it was so good. A fantastic breakfast menu too...big compliments to the chef, was scrumptious! Thanks again Beuveland...can’t wait to come back!

Ive just got back from a 15 day stay at the campsite and I had a fabulous time. Quiet during the week and fun over the weekend. The bistro food is excellent with a great selection and daily specials and great weekend breakfasts. Facilities are clean warm and good sized shower cubicles. Well stocked shop and a great price.
We will definitely be going back!

Absolutely fantastic campsite, great for families and couples, facilities are great clean and tidy, great resturant with entertainment most weekends, shop is fully stocked with all the essentials. Staff are amazing and very helpful. Cut if time for noise is 11pm and most of the time this is adhered too. 100% reccomend this campsite, yes the locals do use the site at the weekends but they are very friendly and approachable and just love to enjoy the campsite and it's outdoor space.

Expand review Recommended: no Can you respond to this fair critism of your site? DREADFUL. This is the worse site I have ever stayed on. Summer 2017 (Club Member) stayed Aug 2017 This review is for Beuvelande DREADFUL. This is the worse site I have ever stayed on. There is absolutely no chance they will retain their star rating. Parallel pitches are awful, offer no privacy and mean extremely close parking between neighbours i.e. more seriously they are less than 2 ft which is a huge fire risk. Fire extinguisher cupboards are anyway blocked by hedge growth. Very poor management is evident throughout because there is no intervention by them to correct obvious issues. 1. many marauding children left unsupervised late into the night screaming, running around and riding bikes at high speed through others pitches, also in pool unsupervised jumping dangerously from high walls (we saw a major head injury whilst there) much noise continued a long way past 11pm 'quiet time' every night with absolutely no intervention from management. Water from drinking taps tasted odd and my family and others on site suffered stomach problems. Management spend every night in bar. Bar serves massive portions of poorly cooked 'slop' on dirty plates. One filthy toilet block, serves whole huge site, queue's are regular. Whole row of showers remained cold all week, huge beetle left in sink 4 days, mess in toilets remained. Witnessed cleaners in and out in minutes. No checking appears to occur, if it does it is inadequate. The site is also permanently occupied by people that appear to live there. We were next to a large group of foul mouthed shop fitters from the North, a man who sold books (boxes and boxes of books), and there were others who were not there on holiday but lived there to work. Large number of French 'activity' students were poorly behaved and unsupervised late into the night, all of which is NOT compatible with a family camp site. People washing under drinking water taps, cleaning teeth etc, all left by site management to carry on without intervention. Dogs allowed to run off lead. In summary a very noisey, overcrowded, very poorly managed site. AVOID
