The food was perfect and so much and such a choice , Would highly recommend in fact I will go back again. The hotel is so central , quiet, entertainment if you want, swimming pool everything you could ever want.

Just returned having stayed a week here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is far better than many 5 star hotels I have stayed over the years. The food was first class with lots of choice and the staff are wonderful with nothing too much trouble for them. Everywhere is spotlessly clean all the time. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay there again.

Was a package trip to this hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and cheerful, with nothing too much trouble. Food was first class and varied, with very quick service. Evening entertainment provided should you wish to attend. Very convenient bus or taxi service available at Reception. Owner on hand keeping a general eye on things. Would have no hesitation in staying there again, and highly recommend it !

we have had several trips to St Helier visiting relatives each time having to stay in hotels so have stayed in several, and as this was our 4th time this year we needed somewhere inexpensive, this hotel has a good location close to town and also has a decent carpark which is hard to find in St helier hotels,However it is very dated and if we were going away to a hotel for the first time say in the 60's it would be a more exciting experience. Breakfast was like being in a care home setting ,some had reserved their tables and got stroppy when not placed as they wanted!we are both in our 60's but were the youngest guests by far!the food was very bland, poached eggs on toast was a watery offering as the eggs were not strained before putting on toast hence a soggy plate, cereals were best described as the' value brand' fruit was tinned ,and you could only have yogurt on cereal if you went for the continental option ,there was no porridge and you could not chose croisant as well a s cooked breakfast there was no mixing from the menu, toast was delivered right at start of meal so was cold by the time you got the cooked breakfast. we didnt have an evening meal as the menu again was bland a different meat course each night but only a salad or omelette choice.Fine ,if you are of a certain age and like boring food!never any Asian or European choices,we tried to get in the bar but this was impossible as insufficient seating for guests and as there was no real ale decided to give it a miss. The room was adequate although cold with only 4.6 tog quilt on the bed, shower was warm with a good spray and housekeeping good. Little things eg paying for extra milk or tea bags in room niggled me,other hotels this has been complimentary!.However the staff were the best some of the warmest ,friendliest we have met in any Jersey hotel and if we could move the staff to another of our favorite hotels it would be perfect. Hence with bit of updating and breakfast modification I would give this hotel a higher rating.

We were staying in the Villa Nova guest house B&B, so came to the Norfolk Hotel for our evening meals. Warm welcome each evening from Brian on reception. Dining room was always busy but nothing was ever a problem for these guys. Had a 3 course meal each night plus tea/coffee included, excellent value for money. Staff were all brilliant, and up for a laugh. Will stay at this hotel the next time we go. Special mention to Silva our waiter and Merc the head waiter, but they were all great and worked so hard. Look forward to seeing them all again.
