Found this hotel from an advert in local paper. Gave dates of travel who then handled the booking, inc flights and airport transfers. Our offer included free evening meals included. The evening meals consisted of 4 courses - starter, soup, main course, dessert & coffee / tea all

After a recent 7 day stay in the MAYFAIR HOTEL in st helier i just have to say how much my wife and i enjoyed our stay. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, all the staff were very friendly, the food was excellent. In fact everything about the hotel was spot on. I would say that it

This is a 3 star family hotel, there is obviously a programme of upgrading because the general rooms are good, the dining room could do with a redecorate, the rest of the hotel reception areas is very good. The bed mattress could do with being replaced in the room we were in

Have just returned from a 7 night holiday to The Mayfair. The hotel is situated close to the shopping area, roughly a 5 to 10 minute walk. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was always hot, varied and plentiful. We had a 4 course menu and our waitress Maria was very

Never been to Jersey, is there public transport or are you better hiring a car
As I recall you have to go into the bus station in St Helier, then get a bus out to your destination. There is no "round the island" route. We stayed in St Helier with a bus stop just outside the hotel. We got the bus down to the station, then another bus to our chosen destination. If you are using the bus to get around it's worth investigating a "3 day" or "7 day" pass from the bus station, as the £2 per journey can quickly mount up to £8+ per person per day. Also I was told parking was a nightmare!

Sorry, both my friend and I had showers over the bath in our rooms. Suggest you ask the hotel whether they have rooms with disabled facilities.

"We have stayed in lots of different room and all have been good."
"Not overlooking St Saviour`s Road."
"We had rooms on the 3rd floor, so they were quite quiet. Honestly, the facilities here are much better than their 3 star rating!"
