Had a fab time at the Villa Nova, nice quick check in. Rooms are a bit dated, but we had fresh towels every day and this place is kept very clean. John and Emma take good care of all of the guests, and always on hand if you need anything. Lovely park just across the road and not too far from the bus station and all the shops. Everyone seemed really friendly and very helpfull. Went on a few of the trips and enjoyed them.

Stayed 4 nights for 60th treat.very old & Dated and needs bathrooms etc updating but clean... OK for price. Breakfasts well organised and well cooked. Recommend inside court bedrooms as busy Rd to front. Nice location. It is what it is. But would try more modern next time.

As many others have said the hotel is definitely in need of a 'face lift' but it was clean and adequate considering the cost. You can't expect a 4 * hotel at that price! Many people have commented on the 'excellent' breakfasts - although the food was well cooked it was a bit limited and it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit or yogurt. Also tables were shared which in some cases might cause a problem. We had a bedroom at the back which was quieter but the mattress could definitely do with replacing - broken springs. The hotel is opposite the Howard Davis park and reasonably near to the centre- a 15/20 minute walk to the bus station. The guest house only offers B and B but you can reserve a table at the sister hotel 'The Norfolk' and we can certainly recommend Park House ( Thai) restaurant just next door to The Norfolk.

Stayed here with my mother & daughter end of July/early August. Good location from the town centre and regular buses. The hotel was clean, great breakfast & the hosts were very obliging, nothing was too much trouble. Others have commented that the hotel could possibly do with updating but we found it to be perfectly suitable for our needs. We had a lovely holiday in Jersey & we would love to return again some day.

Bed, broken springs. Breakfast differed from sister hotel The Norfolk. Norfolk food and staff, excellent! Manager of Villa Nova eerily loiters about during breakfast. Appaling hotel. Will never return. Jersey is beautiful.
