My nephew had his wedding reception here. Food was very good, service was very prompt and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We all had a wonderful day. The room was nicely decorated and the facilities were good.

Copie du message reçu de cet hôtel: On Friday the 4th (c'était en mars 2016) we finally heard that the Jersey Planning Process for the re-development of the Shakespeare had reached a conclusion. It is only now that we are able to confirm that the Hotel will be definitely not open in the future. Diana and I are very sorry... More

Booked only a week or so before flying over from Manchester with my partner, for a well deserved late Autumn break (8 days) around my birthday. Room was at the front of the Hotel and recently renovated to a high standard. Food on a half board basis was excellent and varied. Everyone from the Manager Chris, to the cleaners and... More

We have visited the Shakespeare about six times and once with our whole family. The owners and staff are very pleasant and the food is extremely good. The hotel is an old building which we like (not one of those glass monstrosities with no character) but rooms are very clean. We love the view of the rugged beach and spend... More

My husband and I (both pensioners) had a very happy holiday here. Our room was dated(awaiting refurb), but comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfasts very nice and unhurried. Good variety of food. We had intended eating out in the evenings but on the first night we found that it was very difficult to find a parking space on our return. (Non... More

Having booked this hotel just 2 days before arrival it was a last minute decision to stay here, however, it was everything we needed. The main reason why we had chosen this hotel was because of the early check-in of 12:00 - this is great when we had an early morning flight to Jersey. On arrival the receptionist was welcoming... Now making the hotel their own, they have refurbished all public areas and are working their way through the rooms and the rest of the hotel to create a modern, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and style. ... more   less
