Excellent staff and hotel, room was great , sea views were brilliant . It was lovely having a cup of tea on the balcony . Clean hotel impecable service. Easy to find in a car , although we were in the bus . Entrance to hotel was clean and welcoming
We stayed here in October, we had a balcony room which was the perfect choice, it was clean, cosy, the staff we friendly and helpful, and extremely hard working. The restaurant was very good and the buffet breakfast sets you up for the day.
Lovely 2 night half term break. Hotel was very clean, staff were all helpful and friendly. Good food in the hotel restaurant and bar. Lots of choice at breakfast. Inland view room was perfectly adequate for a 2 night stay. Comfortable bed and clean room. The situation on beach is amazing. A very relaxing break. We will definitely be back.
Great solo stay in late October. Booked inland room for 3 nights. Room was clean and cosy, with all the usual amenities. Was greeted with a small bottle of water and biscuits, it a shame it was not supplied during the rest of my stay, but a nice touch. Had a room with main road view, but for this time of year was still quiet as I was able to keep my window open during the night, room was cleaned daily. Bed and breakfast buffet style breakfast but can order alternative from a limited menu, good hot and cold selection. Ordered food from bar and Restuarant was well cooked, tasty and well-presented and not overly priced. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Bus available outside hotel to St Helier and other parts of the island. The hotel is situated on the seafront, stunning views and great walks. Hotel was well maintained, would highly recommend and even return.…
An amazing hotel, bang in the middle of St Brelade's Bay. Great rooms, fantastic food, especially the breakfasts. The staff were all charming, very helpful and always looking after us. A great value stay and we will be back.
We have stayed in many sea view hotels, apartments and cottages but the location of The Golden Sands is simply stunning. The incoming tide laps up to the sea wall directly at the front of the hotel and at low tide the beach lives up to the hotel's name. Our seaview room was superb and all of the staff were very friendly and professional contributing to our well enjoyable 4 day stay.
The location was perfect. Staff were friendly and professional. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. The beach was stunning and nearby areas were excellent. The whole stay was pleasant.
Fantastic location with spectacular beach views. Staff very friendly and attentive. Great facilities with online bar/lounge and restaurant. Slightly disappointed in the quality of the buffet breakfast items. For a four star hotel would expect quality breakfast items and not run of the mill catering quality. But overall a great hotel
Very difficult to find any fault whatsoever. The staff were lovely, the food was superb, the room was spacious and clean and the whole trip was very good value for money. Would certialny have no hesitation in returning next year
The hotel ticked all the boxes for our short trip to Jersey. The staff were welcoming, helpful and hard working. The rooms were spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Breakfasts were amazing. St Brelade’s Bay has a gorgeous beach with stunning sunsets, great for playing and walking along even in autumn. We tried The Oyster Box and Pizza Express for dinners as they’re so close by, both of which were fantastic. We decided against a hire car and used the buses to get everywhere, the Liberty Bus system runs well and we found it cheap and easy to reach Jersey Zoo, Jersey War Tunnels and the Castle at Gorey…all of which are brilliant days out. We look forward to returning soon!
