Stayed a week at Sea Henge in Hunstanton. Can only recommend highly, brand new renovation, really well equipped, comfy, quirky, stylish, with an eye for detail, by the owners who are extremely friendly and helpful. Stairs are a little steep but unless you're a touch uncertain on your pins you should be fine.

It took me ages to pick the perfect place to stay in Jersey, Channel Islands. My initial choices were Grand Jersey and Savoy. Then I saw Harbour View Guest House. It stood out amongst the rest, not only because of its location which is at the heart of St. Aubins but also because of its grandeur. For a B&B, Harbour View has a very high standard as far as cleanliness and orderliness are concerned. I couldn't fault their service at all either. All the staff (including Kelly herself) are very polite, attentive and helpful which proves to me that they value their guests. I must say, they do know the real meaning of "customer service". They did exceed my expectation in that department. Harbourview is my home away from home as I felt very safe during my stay. And speaking of breakfast, I was very pleased indeed! From the freshly brewed coffee to the cooked meals, breads, cheeses, fresh fruits and cereals, it's simply divine. If you are planning to visit Jersey, search no more because I highly recommend Harbour View Guest House (Jersey) You won't be disappointed. I promise. ❤️❤️❤️

My friend, who I had not seen for 40 years, came over from Bath, England, for 4 days and the prices at this Guesthouse were very acceptable, half the price of the Premier Inn, which is surrounded by buildings. She absolutely loved the location, smack bang in the middle of St Aubins Harbour with a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, art gallery nestled between two beautiful beaches. We both used the buses to get around and, whilst they were busy, were on time and took us wherever we wished up until midnight. The Guest House has a tropical garden at the front and is clean with a good choice for breakfast. It would have been nice to see more of the owners, Kelly and Amanda, but everything was well looked after. They also have another business next door, The Muddy Duck restaurant which is definitely worth a visit as is The Tenby Pub on the other side.

Lovely rambling looking guest house with a very eclectic vibe and fantastic harbour views with amazing breakfast I would request a room not at the back of the building as no views. Rooms were clean and had good amenities

Location for the view if you have a room on the front is, I would imagine, good however the single room I was in at the back had no view just a concrete wall and a very noisy industrial chimney extractor fan from the restaurant below running right next to the outside wall of my room. It did not get switched off until after 11.15pm which did not help my ability to get to sleep. This was then followed by the kitchen staff talking loudly and had the radio blaring out through open windows which were directly below my room. This coupled with very thin walls and ceiling which meant throughout the night and early morning I was woken by other guests going about their ablutions. All told my weeks stay was a very noisy experience when staying in this room

I've just returned from my first visit to the island. This B&B was recommended to me by a friend. I spent 11 nights here exploring and lots of walking and using the bus to get around. I arrived late afternoon on a Sunday, a very short walk from the bus stop with my bag. A board in reception told me my room and the key was in the door. A great first impression as you walk in through the long courtyard garden with a variety of seating options which was lovely. Upon entering the building it felt warm and welcoming, all tables set for breakfast and hot drinks available 24/7 - this was a lovely touch. I was greeted by a very clean well appointed room with everything I needed. The room was spacious with a great view of the harbour. The space between shower and the toilet was a little tight. The 2 staff who cooked breakfast and provided breakfast service were warm and friendly. I briefly met one of the owners and swapped messages with the other about something. It would have been nice to see a little more of them from time to time. This place was perfect for my needs. As a solo traveller it was small enough to feel relaxed and comfortable and I often swapped stories with other guests at breakfast. When I return to the island I would happily stay again. The location is perfectly placed for eating from a variety of places right on the doorstep or catching a bus elsewhere. There is a small supermarket by the bus stop and a Costa should you want it. The breakfast choice was the same everyday but such a good choice, cooked, cereal, pastries, fresh brewed coffee, fruit juices, cereal, large bowl of fruit and other fresh fruits daily, variety of fresh youghurts and a small selection of meat/cheese and fresh breads every day.

I stayed here for one night with a friend. We enjoyed our stay. The room clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the harbour. My fiend and I both thought the mattresses on the beds were a little tired, and could do with replacing. The shower and loo were sparkling clean, and a useful set of toiletries were provided. Breakfast was good, with a great selection. It would have been nice if a choice of eggs, had been offered, but this was our only complaint. Very little communication with owners. They keep very much in the background, and were conspicuous by their absence! It would be helpful to have at least, a receptionist to greet you on arrival, to show you to your room and get you oriented. This is a very relaxed and laid back place to stay. No frills, but good value for money. Would stay again.

We have just come back from 3 night stay. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Accommodation is clean and location is great for local bars/ restaurants. To get to B&B from the airport is so easy, no 15 bus can be caught right outside of arrivals and runs every 15 mins, perfect! Breakfast is really good, a variety of choice; cooked, cereals, continental, fruit. The only thing I would say is if you are early to bed don’t go for harbour view room at front, there is noise from neighbouring bar, it didn’t bother us but for some it may.

First time have stayed here and was expecting something a little bit extra judging by the reviews. Booking communication was fine. Room was overlooking harbour - good view, relatively spacious, clean and good shower etc. And a good rate too out of season. But breakfast was a real disappointment - often cold, one dish had ants in it and another the fruit was mouldy. Simply not good enough. Serving staff did not speak sufficient English, so difficult to complain. Proprietor no-where to be seen in three days until the very end and then only at specific request. B&Bs are supposed to be about being in a home environment and usually an owner is very present and welcoming. And if breakfasts are not up to scratch, then the whole rationale of a B&B is lost. Won't be staying here again.

Responded May 13, 2018
Thank you for your comments. We ultimately try our best to satisfy every guest and make it sure you have a friendly and welcoming environment, including the ants which do not exist and if they did we would have done something about it. The breakfast was not cold I check it every morning as my staff are always on the ball. So happy you enjoyed your room and we did see you over your 3 day stay you may have forgotten, just like you forgot you had paid re your daughter. We as a team at Harbour View strive to please our customers so very sad you felt the need to complain. I am extremely proud of my staff. Hope you understand. Kindest Kelly

It's a great place to stay at St Aubin. If you manage to get one of the front-side rooms, even better. You get a nice view to the port and sea. Breakfast is delicious and well worth. Those travelling with a car, it might be a bit tricky to get a parking spot as those available might be taken and the ones in the street as well. Getting into St Hellier is very easy with the nearby bus station.
