La Haule Manor emerges as a well-regarded destination among travelers, thanks to its prime location with easy access to public transport and local attractions, not to mention the stunning views. The meticulous cleanliness of the hotel receives high marks, extending from the spotless rooms to the pristine common areas. Guests frequently commend the hotel's service and well-appointed amenities, such as the beautiful pool and luxurious toiletries. While the rooms are celebrated for their beautiful decor and comfort, a few guests have mentioned that they can feel a bit cramped and occasionally noisy. Despite these minor concerns, the hotel's overall value, including a complimentary breakfast and affordable transportation options, is widely appreciated. However, some visitors suggest that the addition of a lift could enhance the experience. The atmosphere of La Haule Manor is generally described as peaceful, with beautifully designed rooms, although a livelier environment may be preferred by some.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Very easy to get to from the airport via bus no 15 which stops right outside the hotel and cost just £4.70 for two of us. We also used this bus the next day to go to St.Hellier, about 10 mins away.

Check in was great, we were able to access the room at 1pm and enjoyed a complimentary glass of Prosecco.

We loved our room (5) which had been recently updated and had plenty of space, a great tv and seating area. As mentioned by other reviewers there’s no lift and the stairs are steep but we’re fit & healthy so it wasn’t an issue for us. Beautiful toiletries by the white company were supplied in the bathroom along with a robe & slippers. The fridge in the room was great to have, although a little noisy.

The pool area was lovely, with a converted horse trailer operating as a bar for poolside drinks and a changing area with toilets so you didn’t have to go back into the hotel.

Lots of lovely places to eat in St Aubin but apart from a small supermarket there isn’t really any shopping to do there.

The breakfast was amazing although the room was a little cramped.

We found the hotel to be very quiet which suited us but worth noting if you are after somewhere with a bit more of a lively atmosphere

Once you appreciate La Haule Manor is a luxury guest house and not a hotel as some images on its website may suggest, you are in for a treat. The team are exceptional as many reviews indicate. The hotel and the rooms are spotlessly clean and breakfast superb. There is no evening meal on offer however there are a plethora of excellent restaurants close by. The view over St Aubins bay is stunning. The hotel has a wonderful patio, garden and heated swimming pool. We would have no hesitation in recommending La Haule Manor to any visitor to Jersey. Indeed it is well know within local circles as a top quality destination where locals who live in Jersey stay during the low season, which is recommendation indeed. It’s not worth hiring a car from the location as it’s on a very well serviced bus route which can take you all over the Island at a low cost. So why 4 starts and not 5 for an exceptional guest house? There is no lift and the stairs to the top floor are very steep. Worth noting if you have mobility issues to book a lower floor. There is no air-conditioning in the room which could be a real issue in the warm months especially on the top floor. In fairness a small fan is provided however for a 5 star I would expect air conditioning. One issue which I feel needs addressing is the pillows in our room were of the sponge/ fibre type and very lumpy and on the hard side. It would not stop us from visiting again however we now know what to expect and to book a sea view on the first floor. Thank you for looking after us so well and making our Ruby wedding holiday so special.

Stayed here for a 3 day trip to Jersey. From the moment we checked in, the staff could not have been more friendly, accommodating and helpful. Rafal was so pleasant and helpful, recommending restaurants and providing us with champagne (complimentary) upon arrival. Our room was a sea view room located on the 2nd floor (beware this is a beautiful renovated manor house built in the 1700s, so there is no lift). The view of St Aubins Bay was amazing. The room was on the small side but extremely well equipped with linens, coffees and teas, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and cooked to order, with an additional continental buffet. The hotel has a beautiful terrace, overlooking the bay, and the bar service extends to the terrace (the cocktails were excellent). Additionally, the hotel has an outdoor heated pool. This hotel was in the perfect location, walking distance to St Helier and St Aubin, next to a bus stop, and had included free parking (we had a rental car). I would most definitely recommend. We will be back Rafal :-].

We have just returned from a fantastic trip to the La Haule Manor in Jersey on a bed and breakfast basis. The welcome we received was friendly and efficient with immediate access to our room, and our bags were delivered within a couple of minutes. The room was beautiful with a king size bed, and plenty of comfortable pillows. The bathroom facilities were of a very high standard with both a large shower and deep bath. an extra nice touch being the white company toiletries. Tea/Coffee making facilities, and a mini bar contained various options. Room was serviced every day without seeing anyone.
Breakfast was of a very high standard, A variety of cereals, fresh fruits, various bread choices. The full Jersey breakfast was excellent, this was freshly cooked and served hot.
The grounds were lovely with lots of table and chairs to enjoy the sunshine. The Pool area was clean, with ample sunbeds and a heated pool
As part of the hotel, just across the road is a restaurant by the beach called The Si5, the food here is of a very high standard, and we either had lunch or dinner here every day, as it was so relaxed to be by the beach.
Finally, we cannot praise our hosts and their staff at both the hotel and The Slip for their wonderful attentive service throughout our stay, and we left feeling we were part of the family.

We will return again soon.

Great hotel in superb location with stunning views over St Aubins Bay. Easily accessible by bus with stops both ways less than a minutes walk away. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. At the moment the hotel only provides breakfast but there are plenty of restaurants close by or a 15 bus ride into St Helier. Our bedroom(room 3) was well appointed, very clean and very comfortable and I would suspect it had the best views in the hotel. It is however worth pointing out that this room (and several others) are on the top floor . It’s an old building with no lift and the last flight of stairs is VERY steep so if you have mobility issues you might find it challenging. There are a few “observations”. Shower pressure is very poor so taking a shower is a challenge. It also appears that the shower holder is upside down so you couldn’t angle the shower head. There are also no grip handles to help get out of the bath. One frustration, which is in no way unique to this hotel is liquid soap holders. There are liquid soap dispensers beside the wash hand basin and at the (over bath) shower but if you are in the bath there is no soap!
We have been to Jersey quite a lot over the years….we reckon this is our 15th trip …and we tend to stay in different hotels but we would have no hesitation at all in staying here again.

We have stayed a few times at La Haule Manor and stayed in various rooms. from the airport pick up to our check out 5 days later we have had an amazing experience on this visit.

The room was spotless and beautifully decorated with tasteful and individual touches that give each room a bespoke feel. Food at breakfast was delicious, plentiful and varied with a great selection.

Staff as always were wonderful, welcoming us back and always being helpful. It is credit to them and the Hotel that many of the staff from last year are still at the Hotel, many establishments in Jersey are crying out for staff, let alone retaining excellent ones, well done on keeping your great people!

Ola deserves a special mention, it is very clear that she runs the place with a light yet precise touch. She ensured we had all the little extras that made the stay a perfect experience, nothing was too much trouble for her. Without a doubt she is a huge asset to the Hotel and its owners.

We will of course be back!

We’ve stayed at La Haule many times over the years and always had a 5 star stay, however things at La Haule have changed and sadly not for best.
There are new owners and the level of service has certainly changed.
Some days our rooms tea tray wasn’t replenished (we resorted to buying our own biscuits & coffee), the amount of towels varied each day, no bath towels some days, no bath mat on others & only one hand towel most days, the bathroom had black mould on ceiling & the window couldn’t be left open amongst other things.
The Breakfast that previously was excellent is now very hit and miss. Some mornings no fresh fruit salad, the orange juice was tepid, no cutlery on tables, incorrect hot breakfasts most days (it might help if the order was written down instead of just trying to be remembered!). Also the coffee was never, ever hot always tepid. They definitely need more than one member of staff serving, tables went uncleared, we were never offered toast unless we asked and no coffee refills.
We spoke to other long term customers of the hotel and they too were not happy.
It’s sad as we loved La Haule and always booked our next visit before we left, but not on this occasion, we actually booked to stay somewhere else.
When we left, we weren’t asked how our visit was or we would have given feedback prior to leaving.

This is not my normal hotel in Jersey. But this time, we had a very different trip, for very different personal reasons.

And I am so glad we came.

The location is an excellent location to explore, with easy access to the airport (Taxi, or number 9 or 15 bus), and some great things to see easily reachable (La Corbiere, St Helier, Elizabeth Castle, The Jersey War Tunnels). Plus we've reached lots of little bays I've not been to in years, Greve De Lecq, Bonne Nuit, and the La Mare estate. from here, you can get about, which was the reason for our choice.

It also has great views over the St Aubin's bay, which we've enjoyed over the last week.

The staff, lead by Rafal have been great, and I must compliment the breakfast team and the Chef on a great a varied breakfast. Too often, it is just a variation on a full English / Irish / Jersey breakfast, but we've enjoyed omelettes, Brioche French toast, crepes, or the classic on top of a good selection from a cold buffet. I have to single out the Brioche French toast as one of the prettiest plates of food I've eaten, albeit a very calorific one. Goodness it was good. I'm reserving that for my last day here!

The room has been very good and comfortable, although on reflection, I wish I had chosen a different room. Not that there was anything wrong with it, far from it. Its just that my knee is not so great at stairs, so if mobility is an issue, definitely contact the team here first and discuss your needs. I have no doubt whatsoever that they will be only too happy to help.

It has been a very happy holiday here. Will we come again? Well, that is easy. We are already discussing our next trip here, so yes, though we are considering self catering, which might have suited us better.

Thanks to all the staff, and owners who we were fortunate to meet. 11/10, and a great job. We'll see you soon, touching wood.

I’ve never written a negative review before and feel sad to do it now but I think I would have appreciated a heads up before booking.
We booked and stayed in the upstairs apartment advertised as luxury accommodation. Both apartments are off the hotel carpark on one side and a fairly busy road on the other. On first inspection the flat seemed very nice and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. How ever, sadly we discovered that for any privacy the blinds had to remain down due to directly overlooking the carpark and delivery entrance so the flat felt dark and dingy. Opening windows if warm wasn’t an option either as the kitchen fan is right next to the flat and was very noisy (even with the windows shut!) and was especially annoying very early in the morning when the kitchen was prepping for the breakfast sitting in the main hotel.
We wanted a flat we could return to and relax in the evening but sadly that wasn’t possible either. The sofas are very old and incredibly uncomfortable! One totally gives in the middle and the other was like a bench! If you didn’t need a chiropractor before you did after sitting on them! Over all, it felt like we were in staff quarters not the luxury apartment advertised but it did have a good kitchen so we decided to make do on this trip. Oddly the smart tv was in the bedroom not the living room but at least we could watch some tv in relative comfort on the bed as opposed to suffering on the sofas! New sofas are definitely needed, possibly a new carpet (existing one looked a bit grubby) and a price adjustment to account for being off the carpark and by the noise from the kitchen extractor fan.
We won’t be rebooking there, but hopefully the hotel will fix the issues addressed as the apartment as is, definitely doesn’t meet the advertised term of ‘luxury’.

We stayed here last year and loved the place so much that we decided to come back as a birthday treat. Unfortunately the last evening left a very bitter taste in my mouth as the new owner had his own birthday bash down at the swimming pool and the music and party went on till 10.30 which was not so bad even though we were told the loud music (and it was so loud you could hear it all along the bay to St Aubins) would stop at 8.00. The music stopped but the drunken shouting and swearing didn’t stop until 1.30 am or so the next morning. The behaviour of some of the drunken guests was deplorable as we could see and hear everything as our room was at the front of the hotel. Guests had been invited. Suffice it to say that the next morning when I asked for that night's bill to be taken off as was vaguely promised the night before (no sleep until 2.00 am/ pool out of bounds) after having angrily complained , it was not honoured and after an argument with the General Manager and then the owner in Reception they refused to do so and I was offered 'three bottles of drink' instead (?!). We were on different planets and as there was nothing we could do we left feeling very let down and upset by the lack of understanding and attitude of the new owner. Also the pool area this year always seemed to be full of shouting, screaming kids dive-bombing and plastic floats which was not at all like the relaxing peace and quiet we experienced last year. The evening we left there was also a very, very loud techno-music DJ party at Nude Beach opposite so all in all the elegance, peace and quiet we so loved last year was gone. A great shame because the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever. Along with the very unprofessional attitude and lack of goodwill to its paying guests (this seemed to be lost on them) from the new owner and the General Manager and the loss of the charm, peace and quiet we expected on our return visit , we shall never return (and after the heated words and arguments, probably wouldn't be welcome!). Finally our last night in Room 3 we found the toilet would't flush and the shower had no pressure at all - no apologies at all. All very different from my review last year.

There’s absolutely loads of restaurants in nearby St Aubin. I would imagine quite a few of them would be open then, but you’d need to check on all their various websites. If you like Indian food, don’t miss out on Noya Shapla btw!

Having a 25 year old son it’s a long time since I was a parent to younger children 😆 the hotel does have an outdoor swimming pool and the lovely beach is just across the road but as for facilities for young children I don’t think there is too much at this hotel to keep them occupied if the weather was to turn poor and you were stuck inside

I stayed in Room 6 on the sweltering hot August BH weekend and, no. However, the windows open, its cooler on the north (landward) side and there are fans available. Despite being one of nature's most hot-blooded people who loathes temperatures above 12-14 degrees, I had no bother sleeping.

Not sure but I think everyone who books with an email address is offered a airport pickup best to contact hotel to confirm, absolutely stunning hotel though with the best staff in perfect location.
