The 1st week in Nov 2019 my sister and I stayed two nights in the Commodore Hotel in Linden and was very happy with the accommodations. Our room was very cozy comfortable and clean and most importantly the room was affordable for the quality you received. The staff was very friendly and professional. I will definitely stay at the Commodore Hotel next time I'm in Linden.
Good value in small town - clean, thoughtful supplies in room for comfortable experience, good linen quality, friendly folks. Cozy bar "Speak Easy" in lobby merged local clientelle with out of town guests.
Had a blowout on my motorhome and on the spur needed a place to stay for four nights. Friends set up a reservation at the Commodore Hotel and was I ever pleasantly surprised. This is not your “hole in the wall” little town roach motel. It is a meticulous, VERY clean, friendly, yet professionally run Hotel. No matter what I needed they bent over backwards to accommodate me. I had special dietary needs due to a recent cardiovascular event and they made oatmeal specially for me. I had to come in late the first night and they had me call just before I got to the hotel and someone got out of bed and was waiting for me OUTSIDE when I rolled up. When I read some of the one star comments I wondered “WHERE IN THE WORLD DID THESE PEOPLE STAY? Because it’s nothing like the three different rooms I’ve stayed in here.” Then, I read people complaining because they used silk rose petals instead of real for a valentine get away! REALLY?? Fill your bed up with real rose petals in a room costing under 100$? It would cost almost that much just for the roses! Here’s an idea if you want a luxury room how about using some common sense and going to NYC but make sure you take a few grand because you’re gonna pay for it. Don’t go to a little town to a quaint hotel and expect to get a thousand dollar room for a hundred bucks. SHEESH. BUT I digress. This hotel is wonderful with helpful friendly staff. The beds are clean and high quality with no hint of insects ready to snack on you. The decor is historical and quaint. The town around it is quiet and neat. It’s a great place to relax and recharge. I’ve already returned to the hotel and hopefully I will again in the near future. …
I had never been to Linden before and was blown away by the downtown area. It is like stepping back in time with the beautiful old buildings and shops. The Commodore Hotel was a highlight. It was clean and comfortable. The food was great and the ambiance hard to compare because you're actually staying in an original old hotel. I LOVED it!
My husband and I and my mother had tickets for Gospel Fest at Loretta Lynn's Ranch for Labor Day weekend. I booked us two rooms, coming in on Thursday and leaving on Sunday. Our rooms were very nice and comfortable. I had requested adjoining rooms, and when I booked that is what I had; however, when we arrived, they had changed our rooms. They were side by side, which was still fine, but no explanation was given, only through a conversation with one of the workers did I find out our original rooms were being redone. In saying that, our rooms were very nice. I was disappointed in the "continental breakfast" for Friday - it was not what we expected; nor was the "buffet" on Saturday. I would stay there again, for the room.
