We had previously stayed at the BrookLodge a few years ago and were very impressed and had vowed to return. It was decided to celebrate a family birthday (5 rooms / 10 adults) along with dinner in the Strawberry Tree Restaurant. We also used the Spa facilities which were good indeed. Although the rooms and dining experience was excellent we... More

We attended a wedding here. The rooms are lovely, the organic food is Devine and the setting is scenic and serene. Our son is 11, and was able to play safely outside, or in the snooker room. We had a lovely walk round in the morning too.

The hotel and the surrounding buildings are set in a park like architecture. Very nice interior decorating. Massive display in the lobby of allkinds of fruit and veggies; all bio organic. Superb breakfast with all the choices you can imagine and superb espressos. The rooms are nice; could use some touch up from wear and tear. And a nice spa,... More

My husband & I have just returned from a mid week break to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The Hotel & grounds are fabulous and we were lucky to have the most gorgeous weather which really enhanced our stay. We dined at the Strawberry Tree restaurant which was such a lovely experience. After dinner we sat at the firepit which... More

We had our wedding reception here 5 years ago and have come back every year to celebrate. Accepting the bias that our wedding day was near perfect in every way, we have never been disappointed with any aspect of our stays here. If you are looking for a proper getaway there are few better places in Ireland. Easily accessible from... More

I had high expectations and perhaps this is why I was let down. I had heard good things and being a fan of spa breaks had wanted to come here for some time. It's quite expensive for weekends so opted for a Sunday night stay. Reception was a bit like walking into a living room and the welcome was impersonal.... More

We stayed for one night with a bunch of friends. A very unique location in a serene and quiet part of Ireland. The hotel exudes a quaint and rustic feel and makes you feel you are back in time but with all the modern day necessities. The room we stayed in was unique with a mezzanine floor to facilitate the... We stayed here overnight when visiting the area to celebrate a friends birthday. This is a beautiful hotel, in a lovely location. Our room was very big and very comfortable. We were on the ground floor near to the spa - it looked lovely but sadly we didn't have time to visit. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. The... More
