What a cozy and warm place to have lunch after hiking in the rain. Gluten-free tomato soup warmed me right up! My husband loved his beef pot pie. Very quaint and homey! Fireplace made it even more delightful! Strongly recommend.

Was pleasantly surprised by this charming, country decor hotel. I thought the furnishings were modern yet classic and the rooms were more than comfortable. We had one room on the 1st floor and one room on the 2nd floor, and both had spacious bathrooms, great showers and firm beds. My only gripes were: 1) the bed was a little too... More

i love these old Irish hotels. Timber paneling, creaky floors and worn carpet. A wonderful atmosphere that matches the ancient tourist attraction. The room was very comfortable and clean. Some of the trade work was not finished as well as it could be but that is being picked because the price was very reasonable. The food was very good without... More

We booked a table in the restaurant for Mothers Day, when we arrived we had a few drinks in the bar which was packed but we managed to get a table. We then went into the restaurant for our dinner it was also very busy. We had a lovely meal which was good value for money and the staff were... More

Had not visited Glendalough in more than a decade. Of course, the setting is as magnificent as ever. I was stunned by the tremendous improvement in this venue. It hardly appeared to be the same place that I remembered from the past. Let me also single out the service in the restaurant, as well as the fine quality of the... More

We stayed here after spending the day walking in the Wicklow mountains. The location is ideal at the foot of the mountains at the end of a cul de sac. Our room was nicely decorated and furnished, not at all stuffy or dated. Our only issue was that our room was located over the kitchen which was too noisy for... More

I booked the Glendalough Hotel a few days before staying there. It was a last minute trip for St Patricks day. I usually stay in 5 star hotels so to be honest I didn't really expect much but I thought the price was very reasonable for breakfast included. The hotel is situated right beside the national park visitor centre so... More

Great location I have to say. Glendalough Monastery and Round Tower just a two min walk away. Close to the lakes and the scenery is just amazing. Stayed here for two nights and overall thought it was very good. Our room was very spacious which included a balcony with an fabulous view. Very busy hotel during the day with tour... More

I think the hotel is over priced . Stunning views but need to lower their prices. The bar food was lovely but the restaurant food was only average . The room was lovely clean and comfortable. There was very good entertainment at night

Visited the bar today for lunch. After sitting there for 15min at a dirty table while staff ignored us and proceeded to clean down the empty table next to us, I decided to take it upon myself to order drinks for the table at the bar and get our own menus. For lunch I ordered fish and chips, fish was... More
