Beautiful place to go. Amazing views and good Irish history. The food in the hotel was nice, but the staff taking orders/serving didn't seem to know what they were doing. Mixed our order up forgot some of it. Also made a mistake with other family members order that were sitting at a different table. But all in s beautiful place... More

Lovely hotel nestled in a green valley. Our room was comfortable, nice clean bathroom with great big tub for soaking our tired feet after walking the Spinc hike. Loved the walkway near the hotel and the monastic site. Good food and service; will gladly come back.

Have visited the hotel a good few times now and the service always lets them down. They are always understaffed and disorganised. The staff they do have on are rude, impatient and incompetent. The barman's favourite hobby is to roll his eyes and exhale loudly when you order a drink. The wait staff do their best to pretend they haven't... More

Lovely casual atmosphere here at this hotel. Staff were very helpful. We dined in Casey's bistro and service was quick. Our room was very clean and spacious. No disturbance during the night as its cut off from traffic so it was very pleasant to leave the window open. Phone and internet service didn't appear to be too efficient though. T.V.... More

I Brought some visitors to see Glendalough , they loved it, and the hotel. But I ordered 3 salads and a sandwich, soft drinks and a coffee. My husband had to leave the table to ask for the drinks, oil for the salads and third time for the coffee. When the coffee was brought over, the cup was half full,... More

On arrival at the hotel I was blown away with the beautiful surroundings but dearly disappointed when got to my room to find an outdated dark and dreary room with beds as hard as boards. The TV was from the 80's and remote was stuck together with cellotape. The bathroom was modern and clean but the hairdryer style hose on... More

Stayed at the hotel to celebrate a friends wedding. The hotel setting is simply breathtaking and provided a perfect backdrop for their celebrations. However, I believe the hotel is still privately owned and desperately needs a level of investment within the hotel itself. Our room whilst with amazing views was extremely basic still had a tv set from the 90's... More

Just home from spending a brilliant 2 nights at our best friends wedding blessing. Fantastic staff which started as soon as we arrived at the car park. Lovely helpful reception staff. Food was great. Residents bar was brilliant. Hotel in the most amazing location.

Coming from a hospitality background myself, I found the staff in Casey's restaurant appallingly rude and unhelpful. Asked for water and the waitress rolled her eyes , even though I had asked at the start when she asked us for drinks. I felt as though the staff found it an inconvenience to serve us! I find this sort of behaviour... More
