Stayed here for a night during the best heatwave we have had in years. Place has a feel of being in someone's house which is more or less what it is but a very fine house. Lovely courtyard and nice grounds to walk around. Really friendly welcome on arrival, knew that my wife was booked in for massage and had... More

We stayed in Rathsallagh Country House recently and if your looking for a hotel that has something a little different, this is the place to go. The country house is laid out around two courtyards off the main house with the rooms divided between tastefully converted outbuildings with quirky layout and a more modern, but not contemporary block offering larger... Thank you for taking the time to write a lovely review, it is very much appreciated. As you found out Rathsallagh is a special place, and not so big, so I do get to meet and remember our guests, and I remember your visit particularly, such a romantic occasion. And I was glad to see you left the Golf clubs... More

We had our wedding in Rathsallagh on July 5th , and despite previous scepticism about it being the best day of our lives , it genuinely was . Rathsallagh House and its staff played a huge role in this . Everything was superbly professional . The attention to detail was fantastic . The staff were always so friendly and unobtrusive... More

What a lovely review, and thank you so much for taking the time to write it, we know that things are very hectic both before and after the big day so we very much appreciate it. The good summer has enabled us to host many of our wedding receptions now in the walled garden, and as you found out it’s... More

Myself and my wife attended Rathsallagh for a wedding and from start to finish this venue had it all!! We were lucky to stay in The Romantic Room which is fabulously spacious and full of old country charm. One of the many things that I loved about the place was the rustic features that are lost in the new modern... More

Rathsallagh is a County House and not a Hotel and you have summed up beautifully what we are trying to create here. Thank you. Also thank you for the mention of Craigies cider, its brewed in the locality on the Craigie farm , so it’s a bit special then to be able to sell it here in the bar. We... More

Stayed 1 night at end of June. Weather was fab so house and gardens were at their best. What a setting! Would have loved to have the time to play with the Croquet Set. Our room (the Garden Room - they all have names not numbers) was wonderful, spacious and luxurious with a capacious en suite (massive bath in middle... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, and for your helpful and constructive feed back, its very much appreciated. The Garden room is one of my own favourites, the view from that bath out over the walled garden is so relaxing. Sorry about the old tech TV, we will have a look at replacing that with something... Just back from an overnight with my husband. Warm welcome on arrival, felt immediately at home. There was a problem with our room which was resolved in a totally professional manner without any fuss and with our needs a priority. Enjoyed a private jacuzzi (book in advance) followed by a super massage each. This set us up for a delicious... More

Thank you for your lovely review. We are so thrilled that you gave a special mention to Caitriona and Teresa, the girls are only delighted. Jus to note that the wedding in the House was the day of your departure, some of the guests having arrived the night before. Rathsallagh is an exclusive use venue in that a wedding party... More

A group of 5 stayed for one night and while we all looked forward to our night overall we were disappointed. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It is hard sometimes to remain impartial when responding to some customer complaints. First and foremost, my family and I, and that extends to many of those who have worked with us at Rathsallagh for a great many years, are passionate about what we do and work exceedingly hard to ensure we get everything just right for our guests. Thank you for a really lovely review. It is indeed a great boost to receive such a review from a professional who knows what she is talking about. Spent a night here as part of a 2 night getaway for my wife's birthday.
