The house is lovely and very much feels like a historic place. It's tucked away in the mountains, so it's the perfect getaway, while not being too far from pubs and other towns. Mick is a great host who takes time to chat and tell fun stories. He adds so much to the experience and I will definitely go back!

Cute, very traditional house, taken care of with lots of love and taste. Had a warm welcome by the owner who also gave us a hint where we can have dinner (The Woodenbridge - was a good recommendation, we really liked the trout and the lamb). Really enjoyed the beautiful sitting room and having the opportunity to relax in front... More

My mother and I stayed in a twin room at The Old Coach House in September and were very happy with our stay. When we first saw the room that looks out over the main road, I wondered about traffic noise but it turned out to be quiet. The room itself was attractive, comfortable, and clean with -- most important... More

We had Sunday lunch here today early November 2016 and it was truly awful. Alarm bells rang when our order of roast chicken, "fresh cod" and spaghetti bolognaise came out in 4 mins from ordering. It's hard to get these dishes wrong but The Old Coach house chef did a spectacular job of it. The "roast chicken" was microwaved with... More

Arrived at this lovely old coach house in a scenic area. It is right on the road which concerned us initially however it was not an issue. Greeted warmly and shown to our room upstairs with ensuite. The shower is fantastic - good pressure and plenty of hot water. Having spent the last 14 days staying in bnbs this is... More

We stayed here on a 2 night break and from the moment we arrived we were relaxed and made to feel totally at home. The couple who run the guest house were so welcoming and friendly and full of helpful advice. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is great for exploring all of Co. Wicklow. Also a... More

We visited here during a family trip to Ireland. Beautifull charming house, comfortable rooms, nice breakfast. They even lit the fireplace in the living room for us. Decorated with attention to details, you feel like you stumbled into an Irish fairy tale :) The family that owns the place was very welcoming.

A beautiful home and beautiful people running it. Warm, welcoming, clean and homely. Lots of information from Mick and Barbara. Rooms are cosy and decorated to fit in perfectly with the name of the B&B. We would highly recommend the guest house and we will be back.
