Bansha castle was the perfect base for our family getaway. The castle is stunning and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were great with each having an ensuite. The covered BBQ area with heaters was amazing and the walled garden was fully enclosed and perfect for the younger kids to play. John and Teresa were so welcoming and there if we needed anything. Would highly recommend Bansha Castle!!

Wonderful weekend away with Friends. Immaculate. Wonderful outdoor area with outdoor heating and bbq. Charming and spacious. Theresa was wonderful. Good location - a walk to the village and a short drive to Tipperary town. Excellent facilities and WiFi. Lovely welcoming gifts. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bansha Castle.

Just returned from a fantastic 3 day family get-together in Bansha Castle. From our first contact Teresa was very attentive and accommodating right through to our departure. We are a family of 19, including grandparents, children and grandchildren and all thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful house and gardens. The house was very well equipped, which made self catering easier. We dined outside each evening as the BBQ facilities were excellent with plenty garden furniture. As there are patio heaters outside also we spent most of our evenings outdoors. And of course Tipperary is a very beautiful county…. Particularly The Glen go Aherlow. Thanks again to Teresa and it was lovely to meet John before we departed.

From the time we arrived everything was wonderful! Teresa greeted us and took two of us on a Covid safe tour of this, her amazing home! We were a party of 21 and we couldn’t have hoped for better. Each family had a bedroom each, all of which were decorated beautifully and in keeping with the castle’s period. The kitchen is quite small but has everything you could want or need. The lounge and dining room were fabulous but we didn’t use them much as we had fantastic weather for the entire stay. We chose to spend most of our time outside in the garden to the rear. There, there is a magnificent garden with a table , chairs and parasol on the patio. There is also an area with chairs and tables in complete shade and with heaters if you were staying in cooler weather. Here, there is also a barbecue. All in all I can’t speak highly enough about Teresa and her wonderful home. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to go back. 💕
