Stayed here for the night and it was a very pleasant experience, It's very close to The Radison hotel (Only 200 Meters) The room was nice and clean, The breakfast was delicious and the lady that's here is really nice and friendly. Great value and I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Mary.

We stayed in Philmar house in June of this year and found it really lovely, welcoming and relaxing. Located minutes from Sligos amazing beaches at Rosses point and a quick drive in the other direction to the centre of Sligo and Thomas Connolly's pub!

Normally we stay in hotels when we visit Sligo but decided to try a b & b this trip and we were very pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. Situated between Sligo and Rosses Point in Ballincar it is only a short taxi ride costing approx € 10-11 to the centre. Mary ,the owner, is a lovely friendly... More

It's a cozy little home located right in between town and Rosses Point, which is a plus if you want to see both. The host was wonderful: she was helpful with things to do; she offered to drive me and my friend to local sites; and she served the most generous portion of food I've seen so far in any... More

Mary was excellent company and offered some great sight-seeing tips; nothing was too much trouble for her. Lovely breakfasts. Spotless and attractive room, and a great location: about half-way between Sligo Town and Rosses Point.

I felt like I was being welcomed home after an extended absence! Mary is brilliant! Very clean and comfortable room. Big welcoming easy chairs in front of a wonderful fireplace. Breakfast was grand. Mary is so easy to talk to and could not be more helpful. I would stay here again anytime.

Found online and booked a family room last-minute by telephone as we were expecting a late arrival. Mary was very friendly and didn't mind waiting up for us. The room was gorgeous and quite large (single + double bed, see my photos below). The shower room (no bath) was lovely with plenty of hot water for two showers and luxurious... More

Though the room could have been bigger the overall welcome, not to say the wonderful breakfasts more than made up for such a small impediment. We were very comfortable and as on holiday one does not spend long inside- it really didn`t matter. Very friendly welcome- all needs catered for.
