Went here today for the first time. The grounds were beautiful with ample free parking. The weather was beautiful and it was the perfect day for a stroll around. There is an equestrian centre on site too however I didn't go down to it. It well sign posted throughout the estate. Two friends and I went into the lodge for... More

I just love the friendly atmosphere in the yard and the help and support you receive from the staff. The horses are so well cared for and the facilities are top class. The equestrian yard is like a second home and family to me! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a bit of fun and enjoyment... More

When I received the invitation my first reaction was why travel all the way up there for a wedding. It's over 400 km. from my home. Boy was I in for a surprise. This must be one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding I have ever seen. Just stunning - I am lost for superlatives to describe this... More

Bought a Groupon voucher for 2 nights. Stayed in the main castle in Sir. Johns room. Room was in the basement with a view of the lake. Mad funky disco bathroom with lazer lights, very eccentric. We had dinner and spa vouchers as part of the deal. Spa was great, very nice obliging, professional staff. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. €25... More

Beautiful castle and gardens. Fun, slightly quirky themed rooms. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had a fantastic panoramic view across the lake. Sumptuous wedding banquet and delicious breakfast. Check in perhaps a little chaotic. Great stay. Lovely staff. Would really recommend.

We are regular visitors to Castle Leslie with our Irish Wolfhounds. We live nearby and walk there often. We are made most welcome by all the staff. The people we meet on our walks are mostly delighted to meet our hounds, and without exception they enthuse about the wonderful visit they are having. Lots of photos! After our walk we... More

Castle Leslie is one of our favourite places. We generally stay in the Mews Cottages as it means we can bring the dog. Also as we like to go horse-riding it makes it easier with various bits of kit. The cottages are very well finished with comfy furnishings and all you would need for self-catering. Most have 2 bathrooms while... More

Had a 2 night stay with my sisters and it was great. We stayed in the lodge as we required a triple room. The room was lovely but the lighting was very dark. The breakfast and dinner was delicious, the staff were very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and the grounds are lovely to stroll around and relax.

Stayed for two nights at the Lodge on the Castle Leslie Estate. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We ate in Connor's Bar on both evenings and both the food and atmosphere were lovely. Breakfast served in Snaffles Restaurant was absolutely brilliant. No shortage of choice in fruit, cereals, bread and breakfast juices. Followed by a hearty hot breakfast -... More
