Stayed on the 14th September with my husband as a little break away by ourselves. Room was clean and decorated tastefully. Very quiet. No noise heard from the room at all. The food from the restaurant was fab. Friendly, attentive wait staff added to the great experience here. Breakfast was in the food hall and it leaves a lot to... More

Stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend and had a great time. Check in was very quick and my room was as expected, comfortable and warm. The bathroom in particular was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and of a good standard. Full grill selection, cereals, fruit and fruit juices, nothing exaggerated or over stated, just good wholesome... More

My family (six in total) called into the restaurant after 8 o'clock in the evening for dinner after spending the day in Tayto Park. The food was excellent and the waitress was very accommodating and flexible for all of food requirements. The food was excellent quality and well priced. The restaurant itself was lovely setting and ideal for any small... More

We were at a family wedding there. The good and service was excellent- nothing fancy, just good fresh food and well served by polite and friendly staff, including bar staff and restaurant staff. This is a pretty standard hotel but it does what it needs to to welcome you and staff do seem to like working there, which makes a... More

An overnighter to meet up with friends living in Ashbourne, ideal place to stay. Very reasonable prices, room adequate, staff friendly, check in quickly and efficiently handled. Easy to find and in the middle of the village with lots around to look at. Weddings constantly booked in this hotel and family friendly, Sunday lunch in main function room with bouncy... More

This place is fine enough. I appreciate being a bit north of the city so that I can take the bus instead of drive around the city central of Dublin. It's a decent place to lay the head. The front desk staff is friendly. I felt the breakfast was overpriced for what we got, and the Loft Restaurant linked to... More

Stopped off here for a bite to eat, sat in the public bar area which was very homely and comfortable, nice friendly staff and a good menu, good value kids menu also, food order was quickly taken and was delicious when arrived fish and chips were particularly nice. Didn't stay in hotel so can't comment but would definitely visit the... More

The bar staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Car parking was plentiful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. BUT..... Breakfast was average quality. Fruit flies on the uncovered jugs of juice and milk and bowls of tinned fruit. The plate of scones were each strangely covered in cling film. I took one but it was so stale I could... More

Nice hotel with good sized car park in a small town, comfortable room and bed. Didn't book breakfast so can't comment on it, good sized outside smoking area with comfortable seating. Decent duo on in the bar on Saturday night.

We were very pleased with the room we had and the staff were helpful and pleasant. However that is were it ends. From the reception to The Loft restaurant was filthy. The Loft has to be seen to be believed, the dirt and grime on the fixture and fittings was thick and sticky. The food was horrific everything was reheated... More
