This 'hostel' is somewhat misrepresented on tripadvisor. The rooms are tiny, there seems to be no one on duty. It is nearly a half hour from the airport by public bus and at least a twenty minute walk into the nearest village and only place to get anything to eat. The so called breakfast is an electric water pot, some...

I stayed here years ago and it was wonderful. It has since been taken over and everything has really gone down hill! The initial contact was rude, the reception was ok. The room was disgusting! It was tiny, smelled funny, cramped, dirty, bathroom was terrible. I had cooked breakfast the first morning and the bread was mouldy! I complained but...

Stayed here due to a visit to tayto park. We wanted a full day at the park so decided to travel down on the Friday night and stay here. The reviews seemed good and there's not a big number of places to stay in Ashbourne or close to the park. Arrived down at the b&b just before 9pm. There was...

The breakfast was very tasty actually. My only concern was that it was gluten-free, because I'm celiac. I communicated this to the innkeeper, who was also the cook. I suggested that perhaps I should skip the sausages with my eggs, since they might have flour in them. Innkeeper assured me that the sausages were gluten-free, so I happily accepted and...

Room was very small with 2 single beds despite request for large double. Was however clean and good information on the area provided. Bathroom also small & clean but with a good shower. Beds were comfortable and room was warm all night. Breakfast was, at best, bland for a full Irish. Also expensive paying hotel prices for a B&B

Good location as Dublin bus stops at door - car parking in Dublin ridiculous prices! Good parking on site. Owner very welcoming and good source of information not only locally but Ireland in general. The room was quite basic but clean - fresh towels every day - and with a good ensuite shower. Breakfast was excellent - self service for...

Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was reasonably priced and was clean and tidy. The location is great too. Very near the airport and also Ashbourne village is a 10 min walk away. Rod was very friendly upon checking in. He was welcoming another family upon my arrival and gave them lots of helpful advice about the area and...
