Gordon Ramsey could not give this hotel any tips in quickening the speed and attentiveness of service. This was no Kitchen Nightmare! Our meal was in fact relaxed and I could not fault any of the four servers who attended to us! We were not rushed but as soon as you asked for anything, as if by magic, it appeared... More

I asked for a quiet room and she literally laughed in my face saying, " your on main street, what do you expect ". Am ok, fair enough!!! Room was dated, bathroom in particular. Noise all night long from... More

As this is a town centre hotel, there is always activity late into the night. This is out of our control unfortunately. In relation to the way you were received at reception upon, all... More

Very basic. Paint had obviously been applied to the doors and windows in our room which made them difficult to shut. The bathroom door didn't close properly at all. The hotel was old fashioned. The only vegetarian option of food in the bar was a tasteless pasta affair. At breakfast, which was very basic, they forgot to bring my tea... More

Stayed over a weekend with family and would not stay again due to excessive loud music blaring for hours from a bar/nightclub. At one point I seriously considered driving the 3 hour journey home at midnight, only I had a 4 and 1 year old with me. This aside I must compliment the service, food and staff, all of which were... The hotel was undergoing a refurbishment when I stayed here. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I found the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful throughout the stay.
