Hard to tell something wrong about this accommodation. Very well situated near the centre of Portlaise. Railway station at walking distance. Hosts are wonderful and do everything what they can. Breakfast with fresh products is the best I've ever had. Dont' need lunch after that. Little secret: Dinah, the host, likes (Belgian) chocolates :-)

This is a great little bed and breakfast close within easy walking distance of the centre of Portlaoise. The single room was a good size and had an en suite with a nice large shower. There were loads of choices for breakfast, I had strawberries, cereals, freshly baked homemade bread and scrambled eggs with salmon. All the options seemed to... More

This is a beautiful house to stay in with a particularly fabulous breakfast. The produce being from the garden or home made. We were welcomed very warmly and made very comfortable during our short stay. We would highly recommend to anyone staying in Portlaoise. A real find!

Stayed here for a night in July and from the moment we were greeted at the door it was a fantastic experience. Gerry was a fantastic host and catered for everything we needed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the highlight though. Fantastic locally sourced produce, cooked to perfection. If you have to stay anywhere near this... More

Lovely Victorian terraced building. Cosy interior beautifully and sympathetically decorated. A very warm welcome on arrival by the owner, who helped with the luggage. No lift to the 1st floor. Beautifully furnished room on the first floor. Gorgeous comfy bed. No TV, but not necessary. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Home grown poached rhubarb. Delicious and wonderful home-made bread.
