A beautiful beach and village to go and have a break. You can walk around with kids and dogs. There is not too many shops, but is a lovely atmosphere. It' is a good place to visit in Ireland, and the people are nice.

I've stayed in many similar holiday villages over the years but I was disappointed with this one for the price we paid. We had a baby with us and had asked for a highchair and cot which were there on arrival so I can't complain on that front. We saw the owner once on arrival and once at the end...

Just returned from a one week stay here. We are a family of five who shared a four bed house with a family of four. On arrival we were all pleasantly surprised at how spacious our house was for nine people. It was also immaculate, the cleaners had ensured that the house was left beautifully presented for us. We were...

Stayed here for a work weekend away. Very nice accommodation and smooth check in. The houses were very clean and spacious. However there was no hand soap, shampoos or body gels, toilet paper or towels in the bathrooms. I found this quite odd and a little frustrating as the nearest shop was a seven minute drive away.We were given towels...

Had 2 weeks in a semi-detached cottage which sleeps 4. Very well situated for touring Connemara and Galway, this site is a little out of Spiddal centre, but not far. The harbours and beach very close. Cottage well-equipped and very clean, and the only downside is the downstairs shower-room. The site would be ideal for young families, with plenty of...

Just back from a two week stay in one of these holiday homes. Found the site to be lovely with 2 playgrounds, tennis court and football/basket ball hard pitch plus a games room. Our house was very spacious and bedrooms are large if basic. There is a distinct cottagey type feel to the houses and the slightly dated decor/furniture reflects...
