It's not often that a return visit results in the same level of satisfaction experienced on a first visit. Fresh local seafood, steaks from the award winning Finnerty's (Oughtrerard) and hot home cooked food a combination that is hard to beat. The menus is simple and delivered to your table by friendly staff who are eager to please. A visit...

Rooms was really nice and the staff friendly and helpful. There was a party going when we arrived. The place was packed. But we were found a table in the restaurant where the food was very nice. Roundstone is tiny - but so pretty. I am really glad we stopped here. The accommodation here was very nice - quite upmarket....

We went to Roundstone to bring dad Home. We booked three rooms at Vaughan's Roundstone House Hotel one night for my wife and I, my sister and daughter, and my Brother in Law and his wife. On a cold, windy and rainy afternoon, the kind of weather that only the west coast of Ireland does justice, we went about bringing...

My wife and I and another couple biked from Galway to Roundstone and stayed the Roundstone House Hotel. We were met at the front door and helped with our bikes and luggage(panniers). We sat down in the lobby after tiring day of cycling and were immediately served Guinness and wine and smoked salmon. Our bags were brought to our room...

We've stayed at 9 different locations in Ireland in the last two weeks and without doubt this was the best. From the moment we were made welcome in reception to the time we reluctantly said goodbye the service was 5 star. Our room overlooking the sea had a King sized bed which was extremely comfortable. The bathroom which had a...

A great spot to meander to after a long walk along the beach. The seafood will probably have been landed hours before and the chef prepares all the classics with aplomb. A very civil and pleasant dining experience.

We called in to the bar to watch a match on TV and enjoy a Guinness. The place was busy with people watching the game and eating in the bar. The menu looked good so we decided to book a table in the restaurant that evening. The food was better than average, served in an efficient and friendly manner in...

Roundstone House is the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. It seems more like a relative's place than a hotel. The layout is long and thin. it had a dining room, pub, restaurant, lobby, and sitting room on the ground floor, with rooms upstairs. We were given a back room and I was disappointed at first,...

Booked the Round stone hotel for a one night while visiting our son at local Irish college. Nice welcome from staff, the family room was compact and comfortable but good value for a one night Saturday stay. The bar was busy but the service was good. There were no tables available so we couldn't eat there. It's obviously very popular...
