My sister, her two children and I recently stayed for a week at Abby's cottage in Roundstone and cannot praise it highly enough. Maurice and Ashling were incredible generous and helpful and really made us feel at home. The cottage is fantastic and incredibly pretty. It was perfect for the children as they were able to go on their own...

Excellent B&B in the heart of the village. The owner was very helpful in all matters on the area. Spotless room with excellent beds and towels any 5 star hotel would be proud of. This topped off with a top class breakfast makes this B&B one that can hold its own in any company and can easily be recommended.

Roundstone is a quiet little town 2 hours west of Galway. We were there in June, before the summer crowds arrived. We stayed two nights in the Island View, using it as our base to explore the Connemara region. Maurice was very accomodating and served a wonderful Irish breakfast. Our room had a view of the island. It was small...

Island View is a cute little guesthouse in an adorable little town on the coast of Connemara. We reserved 2 rooms, one was a little small, but both had great views of the water. The owner was very helpful, and took the time to go over a map of the area and provide recommendations of things to see/do. Wish we...

The position of this B&B is excellent, right in the centre of the small village of Roundstone. Room was small but comfortable. There was no room for a chair. Best thing about the room was that it faced the sea and had a great view. Bathroom was good, although it could do with a soap holder in the shower. Breakfast...

Wonderful! Had the most comfortable nights sleep of our trip in one of the most comfortable, well presented B&B's in Ireland! Friendly, inviting and breakfast was great. Coudn't ask for a better B&B and would head back to Island View in a heartbeat

We had originally planned to spend one night in Roundstone but as soon as we checked in to Island View House we decided to stay another night. It was everything you could want, and our room had a fantastic view of Connemara hills and sea.

Roundstone itself is out there, a few of the roads might be tricky for foreign drivers, but once there, it is a wonderful, quiet, tiny town with a few good restaurants and cool shops. This is one road in, one road out, all in a few hundred yards This is not the place to be touristy, but it is coastal...
