Exemplary rooms and hospitality! We wanted to know Vilma if you will still be at Tig Congaile in spring or summer 2017? We have continued to talk about our wonderful visit on your beautiful island and meeting you and your husband. Your friends! Joss, Barbara and Amy

Vilma creates magic on a plate. We wish there had been more time to visit for additional dinners. NOTE - make sure you make reservations if you're not staying at her B&B. Relaxing atmosphere and no shortage of engaging conversation with Vilma and other guests (if you're in the mood to share stories/experiences of Inis Meáin).

We spent one night here, which included dinner. We arrived on the 10:30am ferry and left the next day on the 8am ferry. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed by Vilma. Even though she was not expecting us for lunch, she offered to go out and buy supplies to make us lunch. We declined, mostly because we...

What a woman, food was spectacular. In the face of total adversity (no electricity due to damage to the underground cable between the islands) this woman delivered in spades and with smiles. I would recommend highly. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the island and had great walks.

We stayed for 2 nights bed and breakfast and could not fault the good food, atmosphere and hospitality of Ti Congaile. Dinner each night is home cooked from the freshest of local ingredients and well worth staying in for. If you're looking for a relaxed and authentic experience on Inis Maan then book in with Vilma and co. She's been...

We didn't stay at this B&B but we had dinner there. After walking in the rain we checked few restaurants in island and were told that you have to book it in advance. We were very fortunate when we could sit down for a dinner in Wilma's restaurant even though we didn't book . We had fish with some salad....

I have been to Tigh Conghaile many times and it never ceases to impress. The owner Vilma just has that special quality of making people welcome and relaxed. Many of her guests are repeat business and she likes people to feel at home. The rooms are very well appointed and extremely clean with everything one needs. Vilma is also a...

Anna Marie, the owner's daughter was our hostess on the island, and she was wonderful! So accommodating. Early check-in was no problem. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing. Our dinner was the best we had during our 11 day stay in Ireland in eight different cities. We were looking for genuine Ireland and found it on this island.

We loved our three night stay here. Well kept and nicely appointed room with bath. It was fun to chat with Vilma. We felt like 'old friends' meeting up once again. Vilma prepared all our meals. She is a wonderful cook and host. Would definitely stay here again.

Welcome to Tig Congaile. This family-run B&B is situated on Inis Meain the most untouched of the three Aran Islands. Tig Congaile's tranquil atmosphere and exceptional and serene views of Inis Oirr, the cliffs of Moher and the islands unique landscape, lend towards the rest and revitalization of its visitors, who return time and time again for this very quality. It is also situated a mere 5 minutes walk from the island's traditional pub, where all the locals and visitors can come together to experience a bit of ceol agus craic. And another 5 minute walk in the opposite direction and you will arrive at one of the island's beaches. Your hosts will be Padraig Conneely, a native islander and his wife Vilma, a Guatemalan cook.
