Staffs professionalism was appalling after arriving for our stay after traveling 30 minutes to the hotel ,and upon check in the option to pay via visa or cash was NOT in any way optional and ONLY credit card was accepted which clearly was not stated in any previous emails or not to mention the hotel reception phone call to confirm stay etc the day prior to arrival! The policy/email actually in writing states that cashless payments are ENCOURAGED not mandatory and if cash is to be present it will be handled with the use of disposable gloves etc.. although it states all of this information in previous confirmation emails the receptionist/manager was of no help at all or could not even present the requested proof of policy when asked and basically we were turned away without following through with our stay ,not to mention no apology or nothing!! Very disappointed in the rudeness of the hotels staff and check in process, DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RETURN!! TRY TO SUPPORT THE HOTEL HOSPITALITY SECTOR AFTER A BATTLING YEAR AND THATS THE THANKS YOU GET,BIG LOSS FOR THEM 👍 gladly we got a different hotel to accommodate us with of excellent help and hospitality which was the pilo hotel ashbourne, made up for the long travelling and disheartening events from the disrespectful Lucan spa hotel!…
Great staff. Social distancing and hand sanitizers throughout the hotel. Very over priced though, bar menu especially, but Dublin as a whole is over priced. I’m a chef & the food quality definitely does not justify the prices! Thanks for a nice stay.
I have been in Dublin for business and I found this place a very interesting and comfortable accommodation which I extremely recommend to any body. the staff are really respectful and friendly. Breakfast is not excellent but fair value for money I could say. and the lobby was not very handy as the heaters there where not working. Parking is very convenient and you will always have a place to put your car.
Spent just one night while in the city recently. Plenty of parking which is a bonus and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, small but adequate for what we wanted. Everything you could want especially the kettle, tea and coffee. The bathroom was the smallest I've ever been in; had trouble getting hot water initially but after leaving the tap running and an air lock sorting itself out we got our hot water and could shower. Wasn't impressed with the breakfast, it was there for some time and not hot. It's ideal for anyone wanting to visit the city with buses to take you in. Will stay there again in spite of the breakfast.
The hotel has a very poor opinion of what good service is, people complaining about how cold their meal was so I stated to the waitress that I wanted mine hot but still came out on a cold plate. The room had one part used roll of toilet roll and no glasses in en-suite for dentures or even stand a toothbrush in. Hotel dated and uncaring will not be back.
