Lisdanar B&B is not to be missed! This is an exceptional home with exceptional owners. On our first visit, we arrived after a long day of cycling and Rosaleen met us at the door with a huge smile, ushering us to a fantastic room, later serving us refreshments in her lovely sunroom. Our spotless room was spacious and the linens... More

Me and my friends we had an awesome stay in this beautiful house. Rosaleen is a great host and she is so lovely... breakfast is gorgeous, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is within five minutes walking distance of a very nice pub and other shops and restaurants. Great location for exploring Donegal. Thanks a million Rosaleen!

Rosie the host, needs to be congratulated on this B & B. The rooms are superb, Rosie is the loveliest host and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Breakfasts were lovely and it was nice to have an "Irish breakfast". The most homely feeling.. It was definitely the best B&B we have stayed in while... More

It would be hard to get any better than this. Rosaleen is so pleasant and so helpful. It’s a combination of a natural gift and lots of effort which shows beautifully in every way. The consummate B&B hostess. The place is spotless, well-furnished, and completely comfortable. Breakfasts are fantastic (ask for her pancakes!).

It's hard to beat Rosaleen for a hostess - she takes wonderful care of her guests and is a delight. Her lovely home is as fresh as I've ever seen and her breakfasts are large and delicious and served in a cheerful sunroom. She will cook any kind of eggs to order and if you're lucky you might be there... More

An excellent place to stay at. Very clean, tidy and fresh. Lovely room to the front of the house with every thing we wanted. Fresh tea and cakes made by our host were a very nice treat! A great nights sleep and we enjoyed a well presented and freshly cooked to order breakfast by our host. Ever needing a place... More

I really enjoyed my recent two-night stay at Lisdanar House. Like a number of other reviewers, I was cycling in the area. When I arrived, Rosaleen welcomed me warmly and was eager to provide information about the area. My room was large and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The town of Glenties is a very short walk away and I... More

If there was a 10-star rating, Lisdanar House would earn 10 stars! We stayed in this beautiful B&B on two nights during a week-long bicycle tour of County Donegal. Owner Rosaleen's B&B is pure perfection, from furnishings to food to friendship to functionality. After our late-afternoon arrival (and showers), she served us French-press coffee and homemade scones with clotted cream... More

A group of 6 cyclists toured Donegal with 8 days of cycling and 3 days of hiking on the cliffs. Our accommodations were all B&B's. On our second last day we encountered every type of Irish weather for the whole 39k's. Although we had excellent rain gear we were soaked with water running off our rain pants into our Gortex...
