Stayed at Bunbeg House for 1 night with our two collies Ruadh and Céile whilst driving around the Wild Atlantic Way. The owner and the family were very friendly and made us and our dogs welcome (the family have a dog themselves and were happy to have dogs on the premises). We initially sat outside to eat so the our... More

A beautiful location on the small harbor in Bunbeg. The rooms are simple but adequate and ample, and the inn offers other spaces -- a reading room, a small bar, and a full restaurant. We had a very nice meal at the restaurant, but were equally impressed with the family that owns and operates Bunbeg. Lovely people. We certainly recommend.

This hotel is a very clean, very quiet hotel. It's in a beautiful place but it's management leaves a lot to be desired. The woman of the house was extremely nice and her food was absolutely gorgeous, but she didn't have a whole pile of backup. Nobody seemed to have a specific job, hence there was rarely anyone on reception,... More

What a wonderful place to stay and eat! The Carrs are so warm and welcoming! We felt just like family there! The room we had looked over the harbor. It was a very large room with a large ensuite. Coffee (or tea) in the room. Everything we ate was delicious! Especially loved the way Jean fixed the hake! The mussells... More

Wonderful setting right at the harbour. Guesthouse bit jaded could do with updating. Bistro on site. Limited range of wine but wonderful cocktails! Selection of cereals for breakfast but only one option for cooked breakfast. Service could have been more attentive as variations on cooked breakfast that we had requested did not happen.

We were met on arrival in a very rushed manner pointing us in the direction of the room and not taking anytime to show us around. My partner then went to use the toilet in the room but was interupted by the cleaner as the room was not actually ready. The rooms are spacious and clean apart from the bedclothes... More

I booked a twin room and arrived at 8pm to check in after a long journey. We were told the room was not available but if we waited we would be given two single rooms. At 9.45pm we checked in (if you look at old reviews this seems to have happened to other guests). The next morning as we were... More

Stayed here years ago with family when I was a teenager. I've always remembered what a beautiful place it was so it was our first choice when coming to Donegal, I hoped it was as stunning as I remembered and I wasn't disappointed. Honestly, the location is probably the most beautiful part of the world I've ever seen. The stunning... More
