Booked Rockvale B&B at the last moment for a w,end break away. Spotlessly clean bedroom with basic amenities. Breakfast was excellent and B&B is only a short 3 min walk to Jacksons and Villa Rose hotels. Margaret was an excellent host and would have no problem in recommending this B&B

We stayed here at the weekend for a wedding that was nearby, which was so handy and walking distance to the hotel. Great service and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast the next morning was absolutely first class, would definitely be returning in the future

Booked here for a wedding. So checked in had a cuppa and went back to the hotel. We got a phone call around 10pm asking us to come home to our little boy who was very unsettled (every parents worst nightmare). I immediately ran back to b+b to collect our belongings. I thought it would be best to inform the... More

I stayed in this b&b in August for four nights and it was brilliant. Better than any hotel. The rooms were warm, spacious and extremely clean (with fresh towels and tea making facilities every day) the cooked breakfast in the morning was beautiful and the lady who owns it and her family were extra nice. Made us feel right at... More

My husband and myself stayed at Rockvale House July this year. We cannot speak highly enough of our accomodation. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast very enjoyable, and Margaret was kind enough to even hang out my washing enabling it to dry in the sunshine. To top it all excellent wi fi connection , no password needed. Top... More

My fiance and I were traveling from the Giant's causeway area to Donegal. It was rather late and we were tired. We had been trying to utilize the Rick Steve's book for site seeing, food, and lodging but we saw the property and it looked very nice so we stopped and inquired if there was a vacancy which there was.... My wife and I were just passing through Ballybofey about the time we usually start looking for accommodations. As we started to leave town we spotted Rockvale House. We stayed one night and it was a very pleasant experience. Margaret was welcoming and helpful. It was an easy stroll back to the town center. Our room was clean and comfortable... More

Very friendly and welcoming, very clean and comfortable breakfast was plentiful and unlike some hotels nowadays where self service seems the order of the day, served with a smile. The B&B is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk to everything Ballybofey has to offer. Would certainly recommend it and return again.
