Not only is the setting of Kilmahon a storybook idyll, but the host and hostess are truly magical. Mary and Jeremy go to every length to make you feel at home in their impeccably remodeled luxury country home. We wish we could stay longer and laze the days away in the gardens, the evenings perched in the drawing room. We...

I Stayed here for a wedding this weekend. After years of bring accused of treating my home like a hotel, this is the first time I've ever found a hotel that feels like a home. Mary and Jeremy were wonderful hosts - warm, hospitable, entertaining and ridiculously helpful. The house and the grounds are simply stunning, and I'll most definitely...

Stayed there for a friend's wedding nearby. What a lovely house and fantastic welcome. Home made breads and cookies, yum. The owners couldn't do enough for us, even dropped us to the wedding location and collected us. I really can't say enough about the place. If you are reading this and looking for a nice relaxing location for a few...

A 5 star rating isn't high enough for the Kilmahon House. Mary and Jeremy as the most gracious hosts one could evern wish to find. The 1781 house is beautiful, the grounds inviting and its location in southeast County Cork most appropriate. Mary's baking is beyond expectation and the breakfast the very best. We stayed five days in Kilmahon House...

We recently enjoyed a fabulous weekend in Kilmahon House - a niche and beautifully restored property with a limited number of guests. Splendid accommodation, fantastic hospitality - not to mention the marvellous breakfasts, fresh home-made baking and night-capping glass of port. Mary and Jeremy made us feel like very special guests, and nothing was too much trouble. Nearby Ballymaloe House...

Stayed here with my wife for the second time and we love the place. The drive in, the welcome, the open fires, the homeliness, the massive bed, homemade baking, wonderful breakfast. Top notch guesthouse, certainly the best we've ever stayed at. See you again soon Mary and Jeremy.

After reading all the glowing reviews here on Tripadvisor we knew that Kilmahon House was going to be good, we just didn't realise HOW good. From the moment you arrive Jeremy and Mary are so warm and generous that you instantly feel welcome and at home. The house itself is beautiful and finished to a very high standard but the...

I stayed in Kilmahon House on 26 September for my 30th birthday. It was gorgeous - the renovations on the house are beautiful. The owners, Mary and Jeremy, were so friendly and unbelievably helpful. They offered to drop us off and pick us up from our dinner in Ballymaloe. Tea and lemon drizzle cake awaited us in the drawing room...

I am almost reluctant to review our stay at Kilmahon House. I don’t really want to share the secret in case it spoils the magic of this most wonderful place. My husband and I spent merely one 24 hour period here in early September while on a touring holiday in Ireland, but the memory of it will be with us...
