Ardsollus Farm near Quin is a special B&B. It was great to hear of the Irish 'connectivity' with Australia through Pat's (owner) eyes. He served us a beautiful tea on arrival as well as the chat. Apart from that fist intro we did not see him. Loreto took wonderful care of us and breakfast was exceptional. Our room with ensuite... More

We were so impressed when we arrived to Ardsollus. The grounds are very pretty and well kept. The area is so accessible and so central to a world of activities and facilities. We were shown to our 2 bedroom accommodation, which is a recently renovated part of the original farm buildings. They were just spotless! A lovely bright dining area... More

We decided to spend two days at Ardsollus Farm and we very happy we did. Three of us had a room overlooking the farm. Loretto and Pat came across as very warm. We were greeted with Tea, Coffee and scones soon after we checked in...and again the next night. Loretto loves her tea strongly enough to incorporate into her hospitality.... More

We were exhausted by the time we reached Ardsollus Farm. It was the perfect place to recuperate. The setting was beautiful, the town (abbey ruins to explore) was nearby, the room was large and clean, and the breakfast was great.

It is not easy to find a place to stay when you have 4 young children who are active and love the outdoors. Loreto's house was perfect! It was IMMACULATE and the children adored the family pets as well as watching the cows on the farm. My husband and I were thrilled to learn about the workings of the dairy... More

My cousin and I stayed here for 3 nights recently and recommend it without reservation. The house has old world character combined with all mod cons. The owners Loreto and Pat are very helpful. The breakfast menu has lots of choices and sets you up for the day. It's a beautiful rural setting - I loved the sound of birdsong... More

Friendly, but not intrusive or pushy. Beautiful upstairs room, well-appointed and quiet -- although the crows were talking (it is a working dairy farm). Breakfast all you could ask... Reasonable rate at about €90 for two. Just off the motorway and close to Ennis. We used it as a launching point for Cliffs and other attractions. We would return. FYI:... More

This is an actual working farm which made it very interesting. The home is lovely, has lots of antiques, and the rooms are lovely. The hostess has seen to her guests every comfort. Breakfast is served in the dining room on a table set to perfection. Breakfast is cooked to order and it was delicious, including the scones hot from... More
